1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Satan would like nothing more than to pull people away from God.

There is no such thing as a strong Christian or a weak one. You are either a Christian or you're not!.......If you are truly a faithful servant of God (true Christian), these experiences are normal. If you are not a true child of God, what would Satan want with you? It is only when you become a part of God's Family that the real spiritual battle begins. The power of the Holy Spirit, which dwells within every true saint of God, will help them to overcome the constant spiritual tug-of-war of powers and the principalities of the spiritual realm. The spirit of Satan and his fallen angels will do anything to try and thwart the relationship between God and His true saints. The spiritual Armour of God (the spoken Word) is the only defense against the poisonous darts of Satan. A close relationship with the Father in heaven is an absolute must for the true saint.

Whether she and your other friend dream about demons is irrelevant. You love God, you have a relationship with Him yourself. That is the most important thing - what you consider a strong christian is not necessarily how God sees them. He looks at your heart. Not your experience. Some people do have experiences with demons in dreams etc. but it does not set them apart from any other christian.

There is a tendency for some religious people to dream and the imagery of their religion appears in the dream.
The Indian Spiritual Teacher Krishnamurti, said that when he was young, his dreams reflected the religious environment he was in. At first images of Hindu deity would have appeared. Then when he was being 'prepared' by the Theosophists, images of Buddha Christ and others would have appeared. Later, there would be no images, because there were no dreams.
Many years ago, I encountered a young Catholic student. She was at university, and had fallen in with Christian Union students, who were preaching at her, telling her about demons, and that she needed to be born again, and become a Christian. They obviously denied the validity of Catholicism as Christianity. The poor unfortunate girl instinctively chose me to protect her, but she fell to pieces in front of me. She came for help too late. But she was tortured by a living nightmare of demons, caused by the religious bullying that she had been undergoing for a few weeks. We were able to help and she had to leave the university, but the following year she was able to go to another unniversity, closer to home so she would not fall prey to these immature student types.
To get back to the point, it sounds to me that your friend has become obsessed, and perhaps has fallen in with similar types as I described. It is most likely that the dreams she is having are due to enormous stress in which she finds herself.
Don't forget, if she is 'very' Christian, she has most likely read passages which talk about demons targeting her, just as other answerers have quoted, and is therefore predisposed to interpret what is happening in this way. Very dangerous!!!

no, and I have known God all my life. But, anything is possible. One thing I know works for stuff like this, I will share with you. I may sound strange, but I believe it works.
If surrounded by the white light of God, it will protect.
First get into a comfortable position. Relax, and clear the mind, not an easy task bty, then visualize God surrounding and filling you with his white light of protection and love. Nothing can go against God's protection. You may want to do it to. It is possible that something has targeted ya'll. I can't be sure, it's just what I would do for me, or my kids. Take it as yu will.
blessed be

Her belief may be the cause of her dreams. Once she is borned again the Holy Spirit comes and lives in her and greater is He is her then he that is in the world. So she must believe the demons are more afraid of her and cannot attack her. Know also that God has put her in Christ Jesus in the secret place of the most High God where she is totally and fully protected. God has translated her from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light and light always conquers darkness. Know also the demons have no weapons to fight because Jesus has disarmed principalities and powers. The strongholds in her mind must be destroyed and these are the arguments and every high thing that that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and every thought be brought to the obedience of Christ. In short, she should not harbor any thoughts that she is exposed to the attacks of the demons and she should know that she can command them to leave her in Jesus' name if she feels being harassed by them.

Satan's battlefield is in the mind. Before bed read the Word of God outloud and then pray and ask God to remove these horrible dreams from you mind. Everytime the mind thinks of demons, think of Jesus immediately. Keep your mind on Jesus and command the demons outloud to leave. They have no right to be around you. Bind them in the name of Jesus and demand that they go into the desert.
Read God's Word outloud in the bedroom where you sleep and plead the blood of Jesus on your home. " Cover my home with your blood, Lord. So that these demons cannot come near."
If you have had any experience with the occult, magic, horoscopes, drugs, you need to renounce all association with these and repent for being involved with them.

Not me, But I've heard stories where a person can "see" the "bad" people and the bad people can see her. For example, once, when she was home with her friend, she suddenly got a bad vibe about a devil and she started screaming and told her friend to hurry and help her close every door in the house. They were running around freaking out and closing all the doors. They thought they had them all, but they left 1 closet door ajar. They quickly ran to close it, but as they were closing it, a hand came out and grabbed them. The hand was all burned and gross - it kind of looked like beef jerky (if you know what I mean). anyway it grabbed one of them as they were frantically trying to close the door. They both screamed "F U" (censored) and the like non-stop, and eventually they were able to close the door. Her friend had burn marks on her arms from the creature. The next day the marks were gone. This is only 1 story!

Fundamentalists are obsessed with God and Satan and the battle of good and evil. Many believe they are Christian/Islamic solders in the middle of a great fight. Their imaginations and their need to be apart of this takes over their common sense.
You can read alot of fundies here on Y/A claim to see angels watching over them (apparently at the foot of their bed when they first wake up).
Isn't being Christian enough to save you?

I havent but I am reading 'the bondage breaker' and 'victory over the darkness' by Dr Neil T. Anderson, which have helped me to understand demons and how they are just scare-tactic bullies that have no real power. I recommend them to anyone wanting to live a freer christian life.

I'm a Christian, not a fundamentalist, and I've never had dreams like this. I would say that you seem to be the strong one. I wouldn't give it another thought. They may be trying to brag about themselves.
Phooey....sounds wierd to me. This kind of thing is what makes people think we're nuts.
You're cool.
