I awoke one morning to find someone had left a georgous book about Pompii and with it a white bible. As I am a book lover and so respect these I put an ad in the local shop hoping the owner would want the books back. that someone must have stolen.
Being a Christian it did not occur to me there was a filthy mind leaving the bible 'placed by Gideon' and the book about Pompii as a way of saying I was leading an unhealthy life style.
Anyone who thinks the people of Pompii were destroyed by the wrath of God needs their heads looked. No where in that book the bible does it state anything about about Pompii and those poor people who died a horrible death because of the volcanic eruption.
Although I am a book lover I am going to burn that bible and with it the filthy mind of the person named Gideon. I have a beauty that belonged to my wonderful father who died years ago.

silly gorbie Yes definately silly! Look after you goods from now on, the bible can se sent on to you but the lovely book on Pompii I am keeping.

What in the name of Bob Marley's Socks are you going on about? Sorry, a mysterious stranger had left two books by you when you woke up, they have Pompeii confused with Gomorrah and because of this you are going to burn a bible belonging the the Gideon Foundation, and you look like your Dad?

I am so confused by your question.
I am also a christian,WHY is leaving a Gideon
Bible in anyway a thing of evil.
And WHY should a book about Pompii, have
any connection with the Gideon bible.
I seriously think you have a problem with yourself, as you seem to find it so meaningful.
As for who left the books with you,why would
any of us know that??

Placing a book over the book is no sin.If the book you hate so much contains accounts of sins committed by people of Pompii, Bible too contains shameful allegation on a prophet getting offsprings from his daughters.

You do know that the Gideons are an organization that hands out free bibles to hotels and people in need of one don't you?
Secondly don't burn the Bible.
You can never be to rich, to well armed, or have to many Bibles!
