planet and wouldn't be stubborn as to say 'I gave you free will so I cannot interfere' whilst watchinig milions of people perish in natural disaster. That is not a loving god is it? Also why is it religous people tell us 'interferes' to grant them prayers but won't interfere in these cases?. Is this yet another reason not to believe in the illogical 'god delusion'

You know, we are living in kind of God's prison. Because Adam/Eve were deported from heaven because of a minor crime (eating a forbidden fruit) and sent to the earth to complete their sentence. How can you expect a prison without any torture? And its a never ending sentence by the way...
Think you are a father of a smart boy. And boy one day eats the chocolate that you forbid. And you kick the boy out of your house. Kid is on the street. Living a miserable life. And still LOVES you so much and believes one day you'll get him back home... But he is already a perish...

Or maybe it is prophesied that what is happening is the sign of end times. So God cannot go against what He has already said. He also said that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. So what we pray for will be answered either 'yes' or 'no.'

In Jesus Name

Well 30 generations of people were wrong. Maybe I am wrong too, or maybe I am right. Only God knows whether I am right or wrong. All I know that all end time prophesies are happening today so I do not want to take any chances on whether or not it is in my lifetime...and you shouldn't either. By the way you seem to be trying to pick a fight, why so much hate man?

Bookish: I am sorry for my word choice, He won't go against what He already said.

One more point on the prayer issue. Prayer is not like sitting on Santa's lap and saying, 'I want this and this and that.' It is communication with God. We talk and He listens, but the problem is when He talks we don't all listen.

The god of this planet is Satan. The ground is cursed because of sin. The Bible tells us that these disasters will come in the end times and they will increase with intensity.

To get what you want, people need to repent and live by the Word of God. The Christians will not even do that. God's sabbath is Saturday and man chose Sunday. We don't even worship on the right day. We are to put God first before anything. The only time Christians call on God is when God is needed and then their prayers are so cluttered with their sins that it is amazing that God would even listen. God said, not all that say Lord, Lord will enter His heaven.'

When will we start believing God instead of man twisting the Word of God? If you live in the USA, this nation will either repent or it will not survive.

Suffering and a God now not stopping it's not the most powerful argument towards the life of a God however discomfort does make it tough for me to feel in a God. You are not able to recover from heartbreak for illustration, it will get simpler however would possibly not ever depart. To reply the final bit, "Would you desire the existence wherein the loving God gets rid of all abilities for discomfort?" The reply is sure.

I answered a question several days ago in which the asker said that if Christ Himself appeared to him, he still wouldn't believe. I can "see" that you already don't believe in God. Instead of blaming God for all the starving children in Africa, why don't you people ever put the blame where it belongs-on the shoulders of their corrupt "leaders" who have been hijacking and stealing millions of pounds of food and medical supplies that have been shipped there by the cargo plane load year after year? Maybe if those people believed in and knew the love and compassion of God and practiced it, they wouldn't be consigning their people to such a miserable existence. Oh, wait- that's right; God is not allowed in government or public education. Silly me. I don't know what got into me there for a moment.

Why is it that every non-Christian seems to concentrate on the "loving God" thing to try to prove their point and not his other attributes?

Answering prayer is not the same as rescuing people from natural disasters. In prayer we come to him for help.

God does perfor miracles but also pain and suffering is not his fault we are the ones who allowed it to come to us we humans you know Adam and eve well Eve decided to listen to the serpent and ate from the tree of life and therefore we know know pain and suffering and right from wrong and we all have free will but he who believes in Jesus Christ shall live eternal life so therefore whence you pass away all the pain and suffering will be gone and every tear wiped away and forever happiness in the kingdom of God.

Hey, Joel--God can't go against what it has already said? I thought god can do anything.
And, free will does not explain natural disasters, which people cannot choose to create. And still, still, people refuse to open their eyes and their minds and see that none of their religious beliefs make any kind of sense.

God is imaginary and doesn't actually exist. I'm sure you will hear plenty of excuses on their God's behalf. What's funny is God doesn't answer the prayers of the starving children in Africa. Yet he seems to help the American woman get a promotion at work.

Look at those excuses for their God down there...

"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)NIV

"A man's own folly ruins his life yet his heart rages against the LORD."(Proverbs 19:3)NIV

"Therefore my people will go into exile because of lack of understanding; their men of rank will die of hunger and their masses will be parched with thirst."(Isaiah 5:13)NIV

Jesus taught many things, one being: "So, do not worry saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you, as well."(Matthew 6:31)NIV
