I personally never sleep in socks, it's not comfortable and little distracting for me. I avoid socks as much as possible, I'm constantly wearing flip flops. I know my friend does it because he has poor circulation and it prevents his feet from getting too cold.

I sleep in socks. My husband has to have it cold to sleep, and my feet freeze if I don't wear socks.

Are you asking Do Americans sleep in their socks?
If so, yes, in winter I do, not in the warmer months.

I don't know. I know we don't, except for the coldest winter nights, to stay warm.
Otherwise, I hate socks and shoes. I'm a So Cal girl - I like sand between my toes!

I'm sure there are some Americans that do but it's not the norm. I don't think it's gross or anything. Everybody is a little different in their own way.

Only my son likes to were socks to bed. We usually don't let him though.

i dont- i cant stand it- even if my feet are freezing! i dont like wearing socks during the day let alone when im tryin to be comfy in bed

No way...cant stand them...I just put up with them when I wear tennis shoes/sneakers....barely ever in the summer and no matter how cold out it is at night I never sleep in them!

Only in the winter time when it's really cold. If my feet are cold, the rest of me just can't get warm.
