Well im sure everyone wants to know the answers to such questions as
*why we die?
*Wat happens to our dead loved ones?
You may be surprised if you ask your church leader these questions.. And ask him to back up wat he's saying with the bible!!
hehe!! :)

I'm the only witness in town or in several towns surrounding me. I have to drive 60 miles round trip to attend a meeting.
For me to finish my territory it takes a year to cover all the houses. So they are only called on once a year.
Never before 10 AM or after 2 PM at the latest.
they all know me and my yearly visit. When I go to a yard sale they say is it my turn already?
I have a few calls and some interest here. So I do stay busy.
this computer has allowed me to preach even when It is impossible for me to get out. Right now we are having floods.
This is rural Oklahoma and it is still raining and we are about to wash away. Some areas are so flooded they are calling in the national guard.

I was raised by a J.W. mother but I am not baptized as one. Although I'm not truly considered a JW by true JWs I still abide by what they teach in accordance to the bible. I don't celebrate holidays, birthdays, practice in immoral life style, etc. Anyway, they only hold the true answers that are backed up by the bible. Other people don't like this because they like to practice ungodly things and when they hear that it is in the bible they just shut it out. I mean the things that JWs say are in the bible, it's there but people refuse to accept it. Instead they like to listen to lies that their church offers so that they can continue with their mundane life style. But I understand why many people don't like to listen to JWs news because even Jehovah said it. Anywho, a couple of Mormons knocked at my door sometime to preach and they asked me why god allows bad things to happen. Then he answered his question by saying that because he loves us or something like that which had nothing to do with the question. Since I already knew the real answer supported by evidence in the bible I told them I wasn't interested and they left. So yeah, I believe everything that they teach because it is not their word but actually Jehovah's unlike other religions.

Studying but the only witness in this town never gets out before 10 AM and then by noon she is done.
When she is sick if you want magazines you have to go over there and ask for them. If you don't visit her you don't get them. Your late coming for your study she wants a pretty good reason. We love her to death she is very sweet.
She has our whole family studying.
Real nice little old lady who has been preaching 46 years.

There are many self-described "Jehovah's Witnesses" on Yahoo Answers, but there seems little possibility of avoiding impostors altogether. The internet is certainly *NOT* the place for true Christians to find good association.

(Hebrews 10:24,25) And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.

I am Protestant. I have been called on by them. I like to get into discussions with them, because I have some problems with some of their beliefs. But it would be nice if all Christians would get out like they do and witness for the Lord. I have a friend on here that is a JW.

If they call I am honest and say that I'm not interested. If you argue religion with them they keep coming back. I don't agree with them calling on you, I feel that if I want to find out about a religion I would visit that particular church. It has to be my own choice.

The one thing about J/Witnesses that I am strongly opposed to is the refusal for their children if they need blood. If the adults refuse it, it's up to them but the children don't really understand.

As a fairly ancient, well-read, worldly type with a very high IQ, I resent young kids of 18 or 20 knocking my door and trying to alter whatever beliefs I have.
They do not seem to have any respect for anyone`s intelligence and think they actually do know better than someone old enough to be their grandfather.
I now tell them that the so-called `Virgin Mary` was a prostitute with a husband too old to fulfill his husbandly duties, and she got pregnant by a passing traveller, a Mexican called Jesus, and had to make up the story of the Holy Ghost, sent by a god or something, to impregenate her womb with a baby boy who eventually grew up with delusions of grandeur and thought, actually thought, he was the son of god.
Naturally, Mary could not alter her story so she had to stick to it, and even named her son Jesus, after his father and her son became paranoic about his presence on this earth.
And so was born Christianity.
How do I know all this?
The same way that any of you know about bible stories - hearsay.
