No, they're the same as they've been all week. Prices will rise this weekend and again next weekend, since both weekends will be popular vacation times around the 4th.

Search the Internet for sites like http://www.gasbuddy.com/
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/gasprices/states/index.shtml
These type places help us see where are the lowest prices in our region & around the country.
July 4 road trip coming up? What's your desire?
* Get to your destination the fastest way & you don't care what it costs in gas prices, long lines through airport security etc.
* Take the scenic route & enjoy the trip coming & going
* Travel by auto & pay lowest gas prices in transit
If the 3rd is your desire, then you can use maps and urls like above to figure out in advance where to drive so when you need to gas up, the prices are low.
I have found that the gas stations immediately along the Interstates have higher prices than the gas stations deep inside a city. This is because people who get off Interstate, drive short distance, gas up, and get back on Interstate, they are more interested in convenience, minimum delay.
However, in many communities there is a big point spread between the cheapest and most expensive gas station. It may be worth driving 20 miles to save 10 cents a gallon.
In addition to the normal spread, there are grocery chains that have gas stations in the middle of their parking lots. You buy certain specails & get 2 cents or whatever off the gas ... the way it works, when you check out, your grocery receipt comes with a bar code that you stick in the gas pump to get some # cents off per gallon at the pump, usually up to 15 gallons worth within the next month.
So in theory, you could find out which grocery chains along your holiday route do this, pick up newspaper to see what specials they have ... they won't be open July 4, but probably open July 3 & 5 (phone ahead to be sure) use the grocery store to get sandwiches & so forth for you journey, gas up, save the receipt bar code to stop at same place on your way back.
I have saved as high as 20 cents per gallon by judicious what groceries I got, that I could eat anyway.

Hasn't varied much recently, in fact Unleaded is very similar if not equal the price of Diesel at the moment. Unleaded Petrol here in Winchester, UK is £0.959 per litre... I think that works out about $7.25 per (US) gallon. Mind you, nearly 70% of the price we pay is taxation. : (
