Moonflower, those of us who have gone there, generally support the war in Iraq. We are fighting Al-Qaeda there, which a year ago also declared war on France, despite the fact that France has been neutral in our war against terrorism and in Iraq. The Islamic riots in France were the thanks you get for your neutral position. You can expect they will attack more forcefully in the future.

The weapons found in Iraq implicate France of breaking the UN sanctions. (Our government was kind enough to be quiet on this other than the initial reports.)

The fact remains that Saddam was a brutal dictator who killed tens of thousands of his own people. A man who allowed his sons to rape women and then literally feed them to the lions. (I have personally seen the lion cages.)

The Iraqi military shot at our planes for over a decade and attempted to assassinate one of our presidents. Saddam made every attempt to get to believe he had WMD even though all that was found were the labs to make them. Saddam was paying $25,000/suicide bomber in Israel.

YES, we were right to go in. And YES, we are right for being there now.

I personally hate it, I will change the American society and reverse the terrible plunders of war and the idiotic mistakes of a pathetic military staff. AS to the people that think we are fighting terrorists, they are wrong, the Muslim youth of America and of Europe are destructive and support their older brothers and sisters in a holy war that is actually condoned by the peaceful Sheikhs. If it wasn't condoned, you would see a crackdown on these dissidents.

I instead favor that Europe cooperates with a new government that deports these people to the Middle East.
No more riots, no more "radical youths" in Britain, Germany, France wanting to spark riots and blow themselves up for a perverted religion. No more taking the terrorist blows!!!!!!! The strike must be strong and quick, the Muslim community is a parasite, upon the face of the Earth. Can't you all see where having more of them come in? Can't you see that the Muslim population is going to keep expanding? I can see, and that is why I want legislation passed in the EU parliament which restricts their rights and gets them out of the countries of Europe. I also want to see my own government do the same, maybe the illegal immigrants can lead the Muslims away.

Any other plan is a worthless rendition of a pathetic man or woman that has no clue what this threat is and is willing to give up their freedoms, their secuirity, while defending the very source of the problem. The Muslim population.
One nuclear or chemical bomb explodes on your beloved Paris, and then perhaps will you listen? Fleeing to the European continent will not avert a disaster, because these people have said they hate the West with a totality that is unmatched. You want your kids to be beheaded, do you want your childrent to be destroyed by a nuke, do you want another Chemical Ali but in Europe or America?

I may not be a fan of Bush, but that is not why i have this point of view. America should not be in Iraq. France is lucky to have a leader who cares about what the people what instead of just what they want. Most Americans agree with me even my Bush loving friends. This is Iraq's war not America's. We are just treating the people of Iraq like kids. We fight their battles. Well they won't be very strong with or without a Constitution this way. The way it is going unless we get a Democrat in the White House. The troops will never leave. Bush is just trying to get revenge on the terrorists whether the people want him to or not. So GO FRANCE!

Lets not forget that France refused to allow American military planes to fly over France to deal with Libia and Kadafi in the 1980's. After we bombed Kadafi's tent there were no more terrorist acts sponsored by the Libian Government. Many Americans were and continue to be against the war but France sits on the fence on every issue. Do we owe you thanks? No.

of course you were right. France said they had no wmd - right on that account, France said America would be bogged down in a long drawn out protracted guerrilla war - right again. Americans should be thanking France on a daily basis, for it was France that helped America achieve its Independence in jointly fighting off their British colonial masters. As a result the most famous symbol of Americana is Lady Liberty , a gift from France.

I think our evil lies and attacks on other countrys is criminal as well as stupid and shameful.
Its just a shameful time for America. I expect we will be shameful in our defeat as well.
But...Many REAL Americans to KNOW whats really happining. Maybe we can stop these evil murders and repatrinate back into the real world.

I believe America is the greatest terrorist state the civilized world has ever seen. I applaud France for taking the stance they did.
