Ok, Lets say for one moment you may be right, they hit back at the US for our foreign policy affecting them, so how do you explain this?
How is American foreign policy responsible for?
The bus and subway bombings in Great Briton,
The train bombings in Spain,
The Muslim youth, burning Paris and a few other places halfway to the ground.
The bombing of the theater in Russia, The bombing of the school in Russia,
The car bombing of the resort at Carmel Sheik in Egypt
The monstrous bombing of the wedding a year or so ago in Jordan
The bombing of the disco in Germany
The bombing of Hindus from Pakistani,
The murders of Christians in Darfor,
Or the other 8702 radical Islam-fascist attacks around the world sense 9/11. How is the American foreign policy to be help responsible for these crimes, See how stupid you claim of guilt is? These butchers do not need a reason, their Caliphate demands the expansion of their ideals, and you had better wake up.

Jan m, If you think the Caliphate is a thing of the past, you are truly out of touch with reality, that kind of misleading ideals will be the death of us all. Unless of course you enjoy wearing black, having your face and head covered up, and submitting to Islam, for any who believe such gullible notions, forget the news get on line, look at their own blogs, their own writings, don’t buy the lie that all they want is for the US to leave them alone, that is a sick joke.

Great point. I've been making this point 'round the Yahoo boards. How is US foreign policy responsible for the attacks on Kashmir and the rapes of black Sudanese women by Muslim men?
When I ask what policies Islamofascists are specifically angry about, I usually don't get very many responses. Some morons usually chime in that the US is an "imperialist warmonger," and sometimes they'll cite the Iraq War, which occurred AFTER 9/11, but whatever. But for those who aren't complete retards, they'll often say Lebanon, Iran, and Kuwait. So, our interference in Lebanon and Iran and Kuwait justifies or explains the indiscriminate killings of thousands of innocents, including many who have absolutely NO CONNECTION to the US government or US policy and some who have never even lived in the United States. Give me a break!

Well there is no justifcation for 9/11 but there may have been a reason, however warpped that reason may sound. All the countries you list above have some involvement in either the first iraq war or foreign policy dictated after the 2nd Iraq war.
Madrid Train Bombings - post Iraq 2 (the spanish provided assistance)
German Disco bombing - I live in Germany and I seem to have missed this one but I assume you are referring to that of 1986 when a disco often frequented by US troops was bombed - see a connection. The IRA used the same tactic.
The London bombings - are you aware that the coalition of the willing was only Britain and the US. In case you didn't know (you are American I assume) London is the English capital and England is part of Britain.
I'm not going to continue point by point but basically all the incidents have been directed towards countries who have some sort of political or military link to the US. The US is a leader in foreign policy while other Western states also have a huge influence in the Middle East. The US happens to have the most influence but does not stand alone.

You make some good overall (but fairly obvious) points
But...
The Caliphate went out of existence after Ali ibn Abi Talib.
The murders in Darfur has nothing to do with nothing, it's a Sudanese power and land grab
Paris was about the ghettos that Muslims live in, absolutely nothing to do with Muslim extremism, more on the lines of poverty stricken youth lashing out at discrimination, much like the LA riots
Spain and the Great Britain was a horribly sad but it was an indirect result from US foreign policy in Iraq
Don't know much about the others, except what I've heard on the news, all I can say is America isn't responsible for 90% of the worlds problems, we get blamed for 100% and need to own up to the 10% we are responsible for.

I believe that American foreign policy, the support for Israel and its 3 billion dollar per year military aid to Israel is behind much of the terrorism and if we leave Iraq today. We will still be dealing with this Bush's fiasco for years to come, America has to outright defeat the Iraqi guerrillas and all the Iraqi's have to do is show the US they are in a war they can not win. There has never been enough boots on the ground in Iraq to fight a mostly unban guerrilla war.You can already see the writing on the wall, its Vietnam all over again General Giap only had to show the Americans they could not win the war, but when we left Vietnam we had lost 58,000. men, Please do not make the same mistake in Irag. Pull the troops out put more boots on the ground in Afganistan and we maybe able to salvage that war, that is where Osama is, thats the war we should be fighting. Let Israel clean up the mess they created. Each war trains more terrorist in the Islamic world and as we found out against Japan It is hard to defend yourself against an enemy that is willing to die but wants to take as many of us with them. Americas turning a blind eye to Israeli terrorism is not worth any American lives. Now the Idiot Bush is talking war with Iran and North Korea.
What has happened to common sense in America!

People ultimately should be held responsible for their own actions. The mistakes that we make do not, inevitably force anybody to do anything. That being said, to think that our (American) foreign policy has nothing to do with some of the problems that are going on in the world (especially the Muslim world) is completely naive. If these Muslims read their Qur'an they would not do any acts of violence just as if Christians read their Bible, they probably wouldn't have tried to take the Muslim world by force back in the day.

ultimately! all and sundry is commencing their eyes to make certain the reality and the data displayed here talk for themselves. After that large answer from gypsy_cat 345, i've got not got a lot to assert different than that folk like Vanessa could investigate the bigger image and make her very own checks, somewhat than believing in what the media want human beings to have faith. additionally, i do no longer think of human beings could balme the Islamic faith for the movements of ignorant so-observed as Muslims who declare they're appearing on its behalf. secondly, i do no longer think of Israel is basically a small usa that must be left on my own. If this grow to be the case it would not have waged an entire-blown conflict on lebanon, killing hundreds of human beings as a manner to regain 2 of their squaddies who have been captured by utilising Hezbollah. shouldn't they think of approximately freeing the 1000's of hundreds of lebanese prisoners presently in Israel! Thirdly, Muslims have not got something against Jews. the issue is with the Zionists and Israelis. BTW, i'm no longer Lebanese. i'm in simple terms affirming what i beleive is the reality

I do think that these bombings are intended to get us to listen to a political message - This is a very bad idea and a bad way to do it -
Kicking you in the groin is not going to want to make anyone listen -
They feel they are at war - that they have lost their own nation and so forth - again - this is not the way to get me to feel sympathy - but this is the method they choose
It is a direct result of foreign policy of the US -
No one said that this had to make sense or that they chose a good method - In fact they chose the most counter productive method possible to get any point across
No one suggested they were being smart about it -

America is only guilty of one thing, not finishing the job in the first gulf war,
Europe is guilty of bowing down to islamic terrorism, for failing to stand up to the rise of islamic fasicism, for failing to recognise the terrorists amongst us,for sniping at the us for failing to send forces to iraq to prevent a the disaster which unfolds every day in iraq,
Europe who has sat by and watched us -british service men die in afghanistan iraq, the same europeans who want troops home but have not thought out a p[lan to stablise iraq
but the most guilty of all are the Arabs, who havent mourned for the loss of a stable regime ,for the tens of thousands who have been killed, for the bloody day to day carnage ,who have despite many a arab summit failed to condem al-qaeda, hizbollah hamas for a coup in gaza, failed to condem thre irainan regime for supplying weapons to insurgents, for instigating hizbollahs attack on israel, for pushing ahead a nuclear weapons programe,

Perhaps then it wasn't about us being mean to them, huh!?!?
Perhaps, they simply hate us and wish to kill us?
Perhaps then it is true that they believe that if they defeat us, they are entitled to all of our worldly possesions (including our women) as is written in the Koran?
