why is abortion so bad?

i mean, wouldn't that be like giving your kid a free pass to heaven and letting them skip all the horrible suffering in this world?

Damn, I wish I had been aborted now!

Go back to bed. It's way too early to rile up the fundies and make them think...

Look I'm not for abortion except under extreme circumstances. Let's look at this logically. God created the entire universe so says the bible. That means he also created the diseases that we have on Earth. If a baby is born with a terminal illness he will die a slow death. Thanks to the disease that your loving God bestowed upon him. That baby will get to heaven and then spend eternity worshipping his own murderer.

God also decides when you are born and when you die. He has an entire plan for you as stated in the Bible. Therefore when that baby is aborted by the doctor. Both the Doctor and the mother are only following God's plan.

God wants all gays to die so says the bible.

If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what it detestable. They must be put to death. -Leviticus20:13

God is also pro slavery.

Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life. -Leviticus 25:44

He is also sexist

Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is discraceful for a woman to speak in the church. -1 Corinthians 14

Many wars have been fault under God's flag. God is responsible for the death of every person who has ever been born. He could have created you perfect and able to resist sin but he chose not to. He then punished all of man for the short comings that he gave them. That's your loving God.

Although abortion is not good it's nothing compared to the horrific acts that your loving God has performed. Hitler is peanuts to God's handy work.

In reality God does not exist. Jesus was a con artist. The bible is full of myths, old laws, and stories.

You have to be delusional to believe in God and follow any Bible.

i think the crazy mom who drove her kids into a lake so they would drown said the same thing. abortion is wrong bc no one has the right to decide what to do with someone else's life. if u don't want the baby, give them up for adoption. don't kill them. if the child was 3 and became an inconvenience, would u kill them? i would hope not. an unborn baby is no different. they are still a baby and they deserve the chance at life.

I like your question and agree with you. I think they go straight to the reincarnation line. Lol

To the Christians who want to bash the great freedom of abortion by saying women use it as birth control, read statisics first.

99% of abortions in 2006 were the first the women ever had.
That doesn't sound like birth control to me.

The sin of murder does not fall on the child that is aborted. The sin of murder falls on the person who aborts the child. Just because the child will go to heaven does not justify murder.

Abortion is only bad in the eyes of some people just like war is only bad in the eyes of some people. Bush thinks it's OK to send troops to Iraq to kill people & others don't.....

Babies that die are in the same situation as adults.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

The Bible does not distinguish between babies and adults.

All will be resurrected.

Rev. 20; 12,13

The baby gets suffering and yeah makes it back to its place. God gives a chance. I dont want to intelligently question gods plans but what of those 2 crazy people who had that child? What happened to their values and moral?

Hello! IT'S MURDER! One cannot make the decision that the perils of this world are too great for a child to bear! That is God's responsibility and HIS alone! One never knows what that child could be when it grows up. One never knows what God's plans are for that particular life.

News flash ... there's no evidence to prove that anyone without benefit of baptism is fit to enter heaven.

Abortion is the murder of a defenseless human being for the purpose of convenience.
