Small shop? Mom & pop shop? Where does this word come from? I've found meanings in Mexican spanish but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a Puerto Rican definition.
Can any one help?

According to my dictionary, it means 'small shop' in Mexico and the Caribbean.

From the Purehpecha 'tumbire' which means bunch or cluster in English, racimo in Spanish.

It's also a game in which contestants aim to fill a defined space with the same letter as many times as possible - but I've never played it.
