With all the Pitbulls attacks that have hit the news media, how do we know what the reports really mean? Here is a test to see if you can pick out the APBT that was the cause of the attack. I want honest answers. Email me or post. I would guess most of you will take more then one guess to get it right.

Here is the test:

Thank you for the test. I was able to pick one out after the second attempt. . A couple of years ago a law was passed making it illegal to breed Pitbulls in Ontario. Also a law was passed where all existing Pitbulls could only be walked on a muzzle. This law created a greater fear of Pitbulls or any look a likes. I personally beleave that the problem is the dog owner and not the breed.

WOW! Very interesting! It took me 4 guesses! Great link! I have it bookmarked and will use it as reference.

Guess #1 - Presa Canario
Guess #2 - Cane Corso
Guess #3 - Dogo Argentino
Guess #4 - Got it right finally!

I think a lot of people (including the media) are misinterpreting what a Pit Bull really is. They are picking on the Pit Bull and are labeling several breeds as "Pit Bull" just because they look so much alike.

I have heard that the Presa Canarios and Cane Corsos are the meanest of the mean when it comes to dogs. (again, from the media, so I don't know how true that is!)

wow... took me 5 guesses. Then i enjoyed going through and looking at the different breeds. I own a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and i have had people ask if he was a pitbull mix of some sort. I really don't see it, but i guess that mistake is made. It does make you wonder how many dog owners of other breeds cause problems for the APBT's.

Impressive! I have to say honestly it took me 5 times to guess it and I am a proud pitbull owner and lover. The one I have now is my 3rd one and I hope to keep this one till she passes away also. I couldn't imagine having a more beautiful, lovable, smarter dog!

It only took me one try - but I have the unfair advantage of being a APBT fan and proud owner of a year old girl named Jinx

I picked it out the first time, but I've seen that site before, so it doesn't really count. :-P
