Is it similar to doing the wrong thing for the right reasons?
The influence should not alter the outcome if the intent is good.

When I say to you or anyone, "You think too much", I'm saying that you are clogging your reception of truth. For many years, I analyzed everything, as I learned what the Universe was teaching me...I was thinking in ego (ego analyzes); but Spirit expands, releases...too much "thinking" is the mental equivalent of keeping your hands tightly fisted. You effectively restrict energy from "coming in". Let go, do much less analysis, and just be.
By letting go, your answers come.

Anytime "right" is done, then its a plus...
Now, your question wasnt too specific, so I really cant make a "call" on that part... If you want to add an addendum on this question, I may be able to come back and be more specific, but, with out "fleshing" out the question and getting into details, I really cant answer the question and give it "my all"... My apologies to you.
I wish you well...

Well, eventually the 'wrong reasons' will lead you to make the wrong choice (I whacked vinny, who killed that family down the street, because he disrespected my tie.)
Sure, vinny is dead (good riddance) but killing someone for disrespecting you, well..... gonna be an awful lot of dead bodies in your life.... just as example.

I think it's fine.
If you have a bad motive and a good outcome, that's fine.
If you have a good motive and a bad outcome, that's fine too.
