I watch a never-ending movie in my imagination. It is the saddest scariest most thrilling and funniest and definitely has the best soundtrack. Two points can be made:
1) you don't know what your imagination is capable of if you've never watched a dream in your imagination and 2) most people's imaginations are similar to the ability to read without having to do so out loud, which is pretty lame compared to movies 4 life!

actually, that's not true at all. in fact it helps it along even more. tv and movies can show you things that you yourself may never have thought of. like in lord of the rings, i imagined things differently when i read the book but some parts of the movie completely blew me away. makes you think that you can come up with better ideas than you previously have. mysteries also make you think about the possibilities of things happening. movies also help your creativity by making you think of better way of doing things. don't you find yourself and your friends sometimes saying i would rather have done it this way or that way? i do that all the time. and the more things you have seen the deeper your imagination gets.

If you have an imagination, and you should if you have a "Working brain", TV and movies can in no way kill that. Now, can you imagine that?

I don't think so for have seen so many movies they ask me about some of the old ones. At times, most of the time you need not think while watching. To keep ahead of the game try to beat the writer to the end of the movie. Playing video game will hurt you more, because you do not need anything but you finger and eye.

No, but it can. If you overdo it with movies and tv, it can.
I know a lot of people like that, essentially ruined by TV.
Kids don't know how to play outside anymore. They are all obese and will die early deaths from lack of activity.

Mark my words.

Well for me, it doesn't. It actually inspires me to go write a story of my own! I usually start daydreaming after watching TV or a movie....

I couldnt really say..
just my personal opinon though..

I think it kinda does, from what Ive heard about research about that type of thing. But then again, I think it can be stimulating in ways and possibly trigger imagination.

Could depend on each person.
