[Grammar error is the Bible's, not mine.]

Some people explain that death here means "separation from God." Then my question would be, "why does everyone get separated

from God anyway?" (I'm not asking about the Afterlife and the possibility of being reunited with God "in the end." I'm

asking: How come death isn't "abolished" after Jesus Christ payed the price for original sin which was the reason for death

in the first place? Why do we still have the presence of death in this life in spite of J.C. giving his life "so that we may

have eternal life." That is, so that we may NOT die.)

In another sense:
Why don't believing Christians just go on to live forever?? (Now, in this life.)

Riya Layne, I believe in an Almighty Creator. I'm not an atheist. I am a muslim.

As I see it, Christianity's ever-evolving concept of death is flawed. For over 1000 years they believed in classical ransom view; later they try to comb out the error, not knowing that each strand is tangled. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christus_Victor
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atonement_%28ransom_view%29

Islam is the true religion, where death is simply the reunion with our Lord. "For, indeed, we are from God and to Him we shall return." It is not a price to pay for anything. It is a simple fact of life.

Because they are human just like the rest of us, no matter how exalted they may think they are in their ivory towers of blissful ignorance. All religious people believe they are somehow above ending, that they are the saved, that they will not end up like those they consider "unbelievers" end up- it is a way religious people comfort themselves. The truth of the matter is in the end we all turn to ashes or rot in the ground. Immortality is the stuff of vampire stories, or fairy tales where they live "happily ever after".
And isn't religion also a body of fairy tales translated into a spurious message? Any theists or agnostics got thoughts on that?

It has to do with the state of our existence. Flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God. We will be changed.

Through Adam, not only did we inherit "original sin" and separation from God, but also a living soul, housed in
a natural body. It is perishable, and has weaknesses, destined to die.

Through the "last Adam", Jesus Christ, who became a life giving Spirit, our souls will have spiritual bodies at the resurrection that will be imperishable.

In Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. This is where it is important to accept God's gift of His son. Those who do repent are restored in their relationship with God, to live with Him forever in heaven. Those who do not, will live forever in hell... separated from God for eternity.

IMHO we never die. We are, like our Creator, Eternal Spirits. Pure Energy. When we have worn out or damaged our physical bodies or when they become too sick to support human life, then we (spirits) abandon the body and return to the Creator Spirit. At no time do we die. We just change. We then rest, review what, if anything, we learned or achieved and start to think about what we want to do next. This is Eternal Life and it happens to us all without exception.

Original sin is symbolized by the Apple in the garden. The Apple is forbidden knowledge that even if you don't believe in this knowledge, it is still known by all people...Now, my question to you is: Why do animals die (regaurding this)?

Perhaps the original sin is that we are thwarting nothingness by existing, and that nothingness takes us back after the life. This brings me to the issue of what is going to happen to the earth, galaxy, my brother, my grandpaw, my children, and myself..etc.

Because death is the penalty for sin, and while forgiveness for sin is available through faith in Christ and his Church, the temporal effects of man's sin will be with us until the end of the age, when death will finally be destroyed, for eternity.

Jesus Christ was not a sinner, neither he was killed. He was taken to the heaven by God. He will return to this world, govern this world, marry and will have children. The he will die natural death like all other prophets. And will be buried beside the grave of the prophet Mohammad, where you can find empty space for him on his right side. There is only one GOD who will never die.
