That is an unanswerable question. Every person will have different views on this. Myself, I do not like lace at all, I think it looks ugly, no idea why, and I prefer simple and smooth underwear. However, I am aware that I am probably a minority there. Ultimately, only your boyfriend knows what he'd prefer (and his past girlfriends, I guess, but I don't think you'd want to go poll *them* :D)
