5. Exercise. Go for a long walk or a short run.
6. Get a dog.
7. Watch kids playing in a playground.
8. Take your guitar to an old folks home and play for them there.
9. Do some yardwork at home.
10. Eat chocolate.

Depression is a natural emotion. You can't know how good you can feel with out understanding how down you can feel. Explore the feeling, why are you down? Once you understand why you are down, and that its just another of our many emotions, it will pass.
Use this time as a time for meditation. Learn a little more about who you are and why you are.
