You can check the status of your refund at the Where's My refund from the IRS website, http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=96596,00.html
you need to have the exact amount of the refund, your SSN and filing status to use this option.

If you get a code and are directed to call the IRS, then write down the code number and call them to find out what the problem is with your return.
1-800-829-1040 or 1-800-829-0922

No need to actually worry. I'm assuming when you say you haven't received your return, you mean your refund. If you're receiving a refund, they can't charge you penalties and interest for filing a late return. You have three years from the due date to claim a refund, so it's not like you're short on time either.

I used Turbo Tax to file my mom's return on the 17th and it was giving me odd screens, but I assumed it was going. She doesn't owe anything, so I wasn't concerned if the software was having problems. A couple days later I received an email through one of our research sites saying that the IRS was giving an additional extension through the 19th to people who used Turbo Tax, since they had experienced problems on the 17th. The 15th was on a Sunday, so if you mean you filed it on the last possible day, that might be what happened. If so, log back into the site and check the status of your return. You should be able to figure it out from there.

If TurboTax says it was submitted, go to www.irs.gov, and click on "Where's My Refund" and follow the instructions there.

Regardless of what happened, over all it's nothing to worry about if you're getting a refund. You have plenty of time, and they're not going to fine you for anything.

Hope this helps!!

Depends on what you think you need to worry about!

Did you claim deductions to which you were not entitled? Did you not claim income that you should have? If so, yes, I would be worried. If you're only wondering (not worrying) about where your refund is - try these things:
1. Log on to your TurboTax account and check the status of your e-filed return. If your returns were not accepted, find out the cause of the error and resubmit. If they were accepted, then
2. Did you sign up for direct deposit of your refund? If so, check on TurboTax to make sure you gave them the correct routing and account numbers. Then check your statements or online account to see if your refund was received, and you just didn't note it inyour register. If not, check on the IRS website to see how long you should wait for your refund before calling them to ask.
3. Next year, do your taxes earlier!!!!!! I do my taxes in the latter part of January, submit them by February 1st. I get my refund in about 10 days.

Remember - your tax refund is just you getting your OWN money back!!!!!!

Go to irs.gov and click on "where's my refund". You'll have to enter your social security number, filing status and the exact amount your refund was for. It will show you online what the status is. If you still have questions, you should call the IRS.

Turbotax did have some problems right at the end of filing season, but that wasn't until a day or two after you filed on April 15.

If there were no problems, you should have had it by now if you filed online. If you printed your return and mailed it in, then you should be getting it soon.

You should only be worried if you cheated on your income tax return by claiming deductions to which you were not entitled, or by underreporting income. Beyond that, it takes time for the IRS to process all this stuff, especially when you are a last minute filer as are most of us. The IRS is literally deluged with last minute income tax returns, and it simply takes time to process all of them.

Interestingly, I use TurboTax as well, but I am an old fashioned "paper filer". I mailed my return on April 17, and received my refund check over two weeks ago. So much for e-file, eh?

Log back in to TurboTax to check the status of your claim.

A few years back the same thing happened to me. Since I was due a refund I didn't get into any trouble. Within 3 weeks I had my refund.
