I remember being bored out of my mind and hated every second! I'm 22 and I still hate the mall.

Well when I was about age 5-10, I would always be lookin around for some cool stores, even those little shopping stands waiting to lure children in to bug the crap out of their parents. And when I found something I wanted, BAM I would be all over it. I would beg for hours and even if we left, I would make a scene if I didnt get it haha. I usually never got it because of my behavior, and in the long run Im glad my parents did that so I didnt grow up to be spoiled.

some of my earliest memories are going through the mall or town centre at night and looking at all the lights. I loved it when Id get to go to a cafe and choose a slice or biscuit.

It would depend on the child, as one of my children had selective mutism and a social phobia so obviously she didnt enjoy busy places, but most children will find it fun, depending on how often they go and whether or not they get anything out of it. it helps if the adult theyre with isnt in a rush or bad mood too!

Most children start thinking of things that they saw on tv or in an ad that looks fun or cool to them. They also think of stuff that their friends have that they don't have. They all want to have the coolest toys. If you're talking about older children, well they think about the coolest trends and where their best friend got the coolest clothes. Or they think about electronics and cds.

When I was around 5 I hated going to crowded shopping malls because my face was at the same level as everybody's butt.
