There is a program called "hotbar". When I try to delete it a pop-up says cannot delete HbCoreSrv.dll...access denied. Hotbar is a program on my toolbar on my browser that I hate and I want it off. Could someone please help?

Get an "Anti-Spyware" program. I use "Spybot - Search & Destroy", it's free and VERY effective.

The "Hotbar" and similar programs are designed to track your internet usage (Spy on you) and direct You to their advertisers websites. I get rid of them, since those type of programs record keystrokes too (so they CAN record Passwords, CC#s, etc). Technically they are not "viruses", so they don't get caught by anti-virus programs.

Sometimes it will need to kill the program on startup and will ask You to restart.

If you do know the Process name or the name of the executable file Eg: hotbar, exe etc.... Restart the computer in safe mode >> Select safe mode with Command Prompt. Find the file and then delete it out. If you are an expert in MS DOS Command that would be much better. If get the same error again disable the addon in Internet explorer and delete it.
