i think i may help. I am only 2 years older and have the problem but slowly losing it.
Keep a journal of what you eat. it helps that you are looking at what you are eating in a course of a day.
talk to one of your friends about the problem and instead of going to the movies, you can go out and play a sport you enjoy or play DDR ^_^.
you can check out the game journal on yahoo about this guy losing weight on just playing games alone. It is an amazing read. sorry but idk the link to it.
when ur ready to start eating better, just cut out bread for a while and if you cant try to aim for wheat. NO TAKEOUT and NO CHINESE OR ITALIAN food. I can not stress this enough. It has alot of bad carbs in it so dont eat them until you have lost some weight. I always have to tell my mom no popcorn or chocolate because she loves them so much, but she cant have them ...yet.
REMEMBER to always have 1 cheat day a week or every other week. ^_^ it helps your mind not think about all the weight loss and not eating healthy. but dont cheat too much, you dont want to gain what you lost.
one last thing.......... ITS A LIFESTYLE. think of it like this and not as a diet. its helps alot. trust me. the human race bases everything on choices and willpower so if you will it a lifestyle then this will go along quicker then you can say ..'yucky fat'.

Well first, you should try to eat healthy, more fruits and veggies. Also my strongest recommendation is exercise, this is a little extreme to be able to do but I did 30 miles a day on my bike last summer and lost 10 pounds in a week, if you don't have time to go that extreme, just take is slow eat right and the main thing exercise and you'll be good.

to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 1/2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question goodluck !

Eat a big breakfast, so you get full, then eat a small lunch and a even smaller dinner. Also make sure to exercise everyday, start off doing a lesser amount of exercise and gradually work your way up.

Make a healthier choice when it comes to food
Don't be mad or frustrated when you had something you were not suppose to have just get back on track as soon as possible
