The average age to move out in the us is 24. Mortgage, taxes, and insuurance rates have been on the rise since Katrina hit. I don't know how many people could really afford to live on their own.
My mortgage alone is 2535.00 a month. Thats a 275000 house with a 40000 down payment. how many people have that saved up that amount by age 24 (that's when i bought my house). It's a rarity but it also took a lot of hard work.
Don't be ashamed i know 40 year olds that can't afford to live on their own. It's just getting too expensive.

don't worry about it... me being the only girl i moved out at 17 unlike my brother who doesn't go to college he has a job and is 23 he gets 835 a month and still lives at home.
he is such a mummy's boy hahha

my older sister - who's already 23--still lives with us...dunno why... she doesnt have work..and my mom and dad are still sending her to college... she's always givin our family shame and financial problems ..i hate her so much for putting such a heavy strain on my parents' shoulders!!!
but,in your own case, i think you shud still live wit them, until such time you finished school..and then when you graduated, show your appreciation to your parents...

oh no i been living on my own since iwas 18 im 22 now...i had no mom thats probably why i didnt live with her but if i did have a mother i would have definetly wanted to live with her

My cousin is 32 and she still lives with her parents. Don'y worry just try to be as independ as you can !
