I come back to show the love.
you never know when a word from you will change someone life.
it is an awesome responsibility to realize that what we say can make all the difference in someone life.
and I am not talking about changing someone beliefs, it goes deeper that that.
perhaps there is someone out there that needs to know that you really care.

i come back because i love to debate also, but also because their are people out there who really need some good advice and i feel that the more advice they get the closer to their personal truth that they become. this section shouldn't be about who is right and who is wrong but a sharing of all beliefs so those who are seeking answers can have the information they need to look inside them selves and find the answers in their soul. personally i believe not any of the religions have it right yet but all religions have a contribution to the whole (the one true religion) which no one has gotten right. when we can all stop fighting with one another and truly learn to listen and share with one other is when we will truly unite as one and bring peace to this planet.

I haven't been around as much lately because I'm tired of all the bashing and nastiness that goes on here. I originally came to this Forum to learn about other religions and to share my own beliefs, but now, I mostly come back when someone stars a question that interests me.

I've been hanging around P&S a lot more -- it's fun over there.

well, I like the people here, have come to like many of the atheists very well. I am a Christian who is very knowlegable about the Bible, but there is plenty about it, and life, and faith, that I don't understand. Have met some cool people here and gotten insights into Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, (in all its many flavors)and have even met a few lucid Mormans and Jehovah's Witnesses and Scientologists, which I never thought would happen. We all have our prejudices and biases, and some of mine are fading slowly. Others remain solid, but having insights into the beliefs of people you don't agree with is useful for me.

I am always fascinated by the fact that the atheists are often the first to answer any question. Still have not figured that out yet.

have a nice Wednesday...Brian

I can be useful, answering what I know. I don't come in contact with people out here in the pine trees. I can help in this little way.

hmm... I don't know!
I love this and I have a lot of free time, lol. What I really love is to share my knowledge about my church with people that ask serious question related to it.

It's a fascinating jungle in here, full of the most amazing wildlife. And I mean the thoughts as well as the individuals.

Debate, the amusement factor, and quite plainly - boredom!

Boredom, and a desire to share what I know. Who knows, maybe I have said something that helps someone somewhere.
