To turkish secularist, they rever him and love him..
They enjoy life what Kemal Attaturk did for them..
Attaturk means "Father of the Turks."
To me, he is a slave of the West..
He did everything to get into Europe..
He replaced the fez with european style rimmed hats..
He tried to forbade women to abandon the veil..
He abolished the Caliphate and the sultanate..
He destroyed the once flourishing unity of Islam..
I don't hate him, I hate what he did...
May Allah guide us all..

Mixed feelings. He had some very good qualities. For his country, he was a saviour in a lot of ways. In the war torn Turkey, after the breakdown and fall of the Ottoman Empire, he gave a much needed stability to Turkey. However, what he took, regarding religion, were some reactionary (and by some critics, unnecessary) steps. It is possible that he could have achieved all this without the secularism.
However, it is easier to judge people and very difficult to be in that situation and make a right decision.

He acted as racist....He wanted to change the Islamic law into Secularist system in his country... and he commanded people to stop using the ARABIC language even he changed the written letters into latine ones...
His changes led Turkey to what it is these days...
The worst thing that man left is the discrimination against the relegious people...
Just have a look on the protests against nominating Mr. Ardogahan in elections there JUST because his wife wearing the head cover..
Do you know that the two daughters of Mr. Ardoghan chose to stuady at the US iniversities instead of the Turkish universities because they wear the head cover???
I just want to point out that it is hard to see the woman forced to wear the veil oin some countries while she forced to take her hijab offin other countries.... why don't countries' policies let the woman chose what she want to be and what she want to wear?

my answer will be as simple as dis...he may be a good person in handling political n his country,but he actually try to ruin islam...

depends on the muslim- where he/she is
i think turkish secular/ or practicing muslims will love him as the public institutions in turkey demand that of you
i think the majority of muslims dont like him
but its not something we think about everyday in raging hatred against him as he's a dead guy
grievances:
- he collapsed the Caliphate
- installled latin in turkey
- forbade women from wearing traditional islamic dresses in turkey- in offices etc
recently university students (female) were kicked out for wearing hijab
so was a parliamentarian
many islamic scholars there have been killed in recent times
so we can say that kamal installed a social system that is very anti islamic and its repercussions are being felt by many muslims in turkey- including many human rights abuses.

Which Muslim Society do you mean. It is very general question. It depends to every nation country and culture...
