Is it normal to like a girl over the internet?

Is this normal? I've never felt a connection like this over an internet relationship.

its completely normal. Look at how much internet dating has picked up over the past few years. 2 of my friends have met a guy online and ending up dating them and are still together today. i have another friend that has been talkin to a guy for about 8 months and he is flying up to NY to see how things go when they are in person. See what happens and follow your heart <3

It's normal, but I wouldn't recommend doing anything about it.

The chance is very high that a relationship with someone over the internet won't work.

If you do "go out with" this girl, it'll make you look like a huge nerd to future girls that you're interested in. Ahaha

If you feel a strong connection with her, then you don't have to make something out of it. I think it'd be cool if you used her as simply a good friend that you can talk to about whatever. Putting pressure on your bond will make it snap, sooner or later.

of course it is normal! communication, however it may be, is very possible. the only difference with the internet is that you must rely on the context. the rest is of question, such as the physical appearance, voice, and behavior. i fell in love on the internet once. you just have to be careful...there are crazy people out there! the best thing for you to do is maybe talk on the phone or email each other pics. hopefully that person is really a girl! :) aloha!

There are so many ways to meet people on the internet.....and it is so easy to chat and joke and even get connections with people. I have made tons of friends thru the internet and met lots of them in person. Actually a few of my best friends I met on the internet....but always beware of fakes and frauds....unfortunately it is also easy get lied to and played for a fool over the internet from fakes and frauds....be fun, be happy just be aware.

It's not abnormal but you have to really reserve your feelings until you meet the person IN person. No matter what you may feel or say on the internet when you encounter someone in the real world it's a whole different experience.

the best thing to do and find out if you like someone over the imternet is to keep contact and learn more about them, get to know as much while still letting her know you too.
