I'm not a big fan of the catholic religion, but he had a good positive quality about him that not many world leaders have. While he resided over some of the worst scandals of the Church in his time, he did help a lot of people out and was certainly a better pope than our current former nazi of a pope.

Pope John Paull II embodied what most leaders dream of projecting - overflowing charisma, firm leadership, sharp intelligence, good humor and he has that rare ability to get along with most people, regardless of religion and political beliefs. He also possessed that trait that is lacking in most of our word leaders - firm leadership and the sincere desire to achieve brotherhood amongst all nations and religions.
He was man enough to acknowledge and apologize for the past atrocities of the Catholic church, the very church he was leading at the time.
He was a sincere man and for some unknown reason when I saw him in person and when I heard of his demise, I was brought to tears, and I am sure I am not alone with that reaction. Only a truly good person, regardless of religion will have that effect on millions.

whether i do no longer trust notably much each little thing comming from the Vatican, John Paul II became right into a good, open-minded pope. I even have seen many many 70-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-previous adult males who have been lots much less open-minded than he became into.

He prevented condom distribution in AIDS ridden Africa that could have wideley prevent the spread of the disease and probably cost the lives of countless innocent children born to infected parents.
He helped cover up the church sex abuse scandal. He allowed priests who molested little boys to keep their job with the church, instead of notifying authorities.
I love that he is no longer pope. He did help defeat communism, though.

Because he says out of my business.
Just kidding.
I'm a nice Christian guy, but not Catholic.
I love him as a brother because he loves God.

I love to hate the pope, just like every other religious leader he uses a persons faith to fill his pockets. Hes a crook and there is no doubt about that! He knows that there really is no god but he still wants you to give your money to his church because he needs a new bubble car and some new rings so his lil butt buddy, child molesting followers in the church can continue to deceive the masses.
