The only electromagnetic radiation coming from a t.v. is visible light. And yes, it'll still hit you, even with your eyes closed, although not on the eye itself.

Nope, you dont....Not your eyes at least..
Radiation from TV, is composed mainly, of light producing by electrond bouncing the "inside " of a chemically prepared screen....light can not reach you retina, nor affect it, when you have your eyes closed.....its a simple principle of logic...If you close your eyes, you are stopping the entrance of the visible spectrumof light, to the inside of your eyes...even with the TV turned on....

Why do you want to watch TV with your eyes closed?
I don't see how knowing the answer would change anything :o)

Look at a bright electric bulb that is glowing with your eyes closed. Ask someone to switch off the bulb. Compare the difference. Red glow you see when your eyes are closed is light filtered by translucent lids.
