He drove too agressive. He spun out Kurt and almost spun out Jimmie Johnson.

What do you think about the rookie racer??

P.S. when he's in victory lane he can at least act like he's excited. who agrees?

He was both a winner and wrecker at Infineon and Mexico City (the Busch race). Ironically, these are his only NASCAR wins. He hasn't won a clean race all year. After both races, he had no bad feelings for wrecking other drivers to win the race. This is a bit selfish to me.

In my opinion, he is way too aggressive, and this is displayed at almost every race he is entered in. If I were Jimmie Johnson at Infineon, I would have spun him at turn 3.

the only thing less consistent than nascar rules seams to be nascar fans. if your guy bumps someone its "rubbing is racing", if someone you don't like hits your guy its "dirty driving", if a guy you don't like wins well then nascar must have "fixed" it, dale jr hasn't won a race in what 2 years? you say how hes the best driver ever, jeff gordon has 4 championships under his belt but he is only winning this season because hendrik is paying off nascar, do you see how stupid all this sounds ?

now this tard here is referring to an indy 500 winner, ppg indycar champion, f-3000 champion, 7 time F1 grand prix winner, 24 hours of daytona winner, as well as winning a busch and a cup race in his first complete season (in a dodge no less), as a rookie racer? he has more racing experience than 4/5th of this field

that's why i will always say there is a difference between a race fan and a nascar fan, race fans watch all racing including nascar, where a nascar fans watch the cup race on sunday afternoon and the wrestling ppv later that night

I wish everyone would stop bashing Montoya I'm sorry what is a race without any bumping spinning or crashing, People complain about the super tracks are boring because there is no action. Then when there is action its wah wah wah come on people get real. Montoya is aggresive driver and Chip knew it when he hired him, yes he has alot to learn and that is true but he is no worse then Stewart, Johnson, Gordan,Jr,honestly you want me to continue. Montoya is a great driver and will continue to learn. As far as him not being excited on Victory lane he was very happy (I was there) but when I watched it on Tivo TNT cut out alot of crap out so you didnt see everything

He is a good driver. His problem is that he can be overly aggressive and it causes many of the wrecks he is involved in. He still has a lot to learn in a stock car. Even though he won it wasn't because he was the best driver or had the best car. He was in the right place at the right time and stretched out his fuel just enough to make it when most others ran out or had to stop.

There is a time and place to be aggressive. On the final lap racing for position is one of them. Being a lap or more down with 100 to go racing the leaders is not. The good drivers know the difference. Earnhardt know when to do it.

But when Dale Earnhardt bumped someone out of the way, it was just racin'.

I think he could be something. Yeah, he does need to watch his P's & Q's at times, and pick and choose his fights, but for the most part, I do see him being a winner in NASCAR in a lot more races, especailly once he gets the hang of ovals.

He spun Kurt, almost Jr., almost Johnson and I'm sure there are many more that we didn't see. I've tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he never changes his style. He doesn't seem to want to change either. Who knows, if he keeps it up, he may wreck enough drivers to get himself right into the record books. And the day he does is the day I quit watching NASCAR. If I have to watch my driver get wrecked so Juan can win, I don't want to watch anyway.

I don't remember him wrecking anyone at Sonoma but I do remember the bumping. I could be wrong.
But I believe he's a bad boy and that bad things are going to happen when he's driving. He's like the comic strip character in Lil'Abner (I think) who had the black cloud over him all the time. Montoya seems to have this black cloud surrounding him. I just cringe when I see his car running in a pack out of fear of what he is going to do. And I still 100% feel that his day of judgement at the hands of his peers is coming. He's starting to bump the big guns and that won't bode well for the future.

I agree with what's been said about when Dale Earnhardt was young he wrecked people left and right. It's a race, not a popularity contest. And as for acting excited on the podium, when he's won races in F1, the pinnacle of motorsports, what's the big deal about winning a nascar race?

I don't see what the big deal is, he isn't the only one that spins out people. If you think he is dirty, maybe you should start looking a those like Tony and Michael Waltrip. Those too have always had this problem but watch out if you spin Tony out. Now I have always liked Tony Stewart, but everyone is beating up on Juan leave the guy alone.
