I would really like to know more about your beliefs, spells, etc. What are some good books and/or sites that can help me with this.
Also, are these spells real? Meaning...do they really work?

Any by Scott Cunningham, he's recommended by most long time Wiccans and new age store employes in my experience. It's a good idea to go to a new age store and look at their selection of books, enquiring as to which is the most sound. I also quite enjoy Jaq D Hawkins texts of elemental spirits.
Sites wise, I've attached some below, some are shops, others information.
Spells are successful based on intent, will power, and ligitimacy, there's quite a few people out there who'll sell a spell that'll never work for you.

There is a section for magic and spellcasting on that site.
Mainly for me, though, Wicca is about my religious expression. Celebrating the seasonal holidays and how they relate to my life and the life cycles, trying to attuning with the world around me and communing with the Divine Source, learning and growing by putting my spiritual principles into practice-- this is what is important about Wicca is for me.
I could be just a Witch (a non-Wiccan Witch) or a Ceremonial Magician or practice folk magic if all I wanted to do were spells. While Wiccans do embrace magic as a part of our spiritual philosophies, there are many who never bother to practice magic at all.
Spellcasting is an option, but primarily Wicca is my religion.

I used to be Wiccan about 7 years ago. Hmmm there are good books from Raymond Buckland that are classics. He has tons of books out there. Silver Ravenwolf is another. Ummm, what else, the spells themselves.. first of all it is about channeling only positive energies of earth, air, water, fire. Its about embracing your highest being. I take a psychological standpoint now on it and think that it is really channeling your highest spirittual self and that you are creating a type of Self fulflling prophesy when you do these spells. Like praying. Using your mind to prepare and forsee and focus on a positive outcome... it will encourage you to fulfill that desire because you have painted picture/acted it out in your head already and are more likely to see results because you have created mental images of it. Beliefs... its an earth religion.... animism is one.... each individual enitity.. plant, animal, wind has a spirit and you can connect with them. Blessed be!

well i'm not a wiccan, but i've read a bit about their religion... there's a book titled "the wicca handbook", has a lot of info on history, beliefs, rituals, meanings and symbolism that they use... it's really interesting, and about the spells.... well, not too sure.
You can try many websites that show u some of them and also provide info on the religion.

They are as real as you want them to be. You see its your will that makes them work. If you study up and increase your will power, you will see their effects. I only use the dark ones because its very easy for me to focus my bad energy. There are some great books available: A Witches' Bible: The Complete Witches Handbook is good, but the best for what you want is: Commentary of Suratul Jinn =: Tafsir Surat Al-Jinn . Its great for giving you the background you need and directions you can go. Many people wont' understand it, but its a great place to start.

Wicca is just another cult. Just like Christianity, Islam, Judism, etc.
Only difference is that Wicca was pretty much invented 50 years ago, while the other have aged a bit longer.
And no the spells aren't real! Come on now.

The power of spells really depends on you. It's all in the mind. 'Intellectual' types often have more trouble performing spells that work because they doubt them.
