Oh my God the Ultimate answer is right. I totally forgot about ALL of that CO2 that a candle releases. Im going to tell yankee and gold canyon Right now that they are going to kill us all on their scented candles. Would that not be the worst way to die, scented candles?
You may want to stop exhaling also, you release CO2 when you breathe. YOU'RE contributing to global warming. Are you a terrorist? Haha
Good luck trying to use your candles, maybe when we go to the moon again it will be safe.

SHORT ANSWER:
No but it does make for a romantic ambiance.
EXPLANATION:
A candle is a hydrocarbon, the most common being paraffin wax which is one of the group of alkane hydrocarbons called paraffin, like all hydrocarbons it's a polymer made of long chains of hydrogen and carbon atoms. Depending on the type of paraffin wax it will have a chemical formula between C20H42 and C27H56.
During combustion the bonds between the atoms are broken, the hydrogen reacts with oxygen to produce water (this is the blue part at the bottom of the flame) and the carbon oxidises to form carbon dioxide (the yellow part of the flame).
Candle wax is simply fuel in solid form. Lighting a candle starts a self sustaining exothermic reaction, the heat melts the fuel and the fuel burns.
When combusted the paraffin reacts with oxygen from the air, this adds to the total amount of material involved in the reaction. For each unit mass of candle that is burned approximately 2.5 times that mass will be released as carbon dioxide and a slightly lesser amount of water will be produced.

Paraffin wax candles are fossil fuel, so no.
Soy candles will also use some fossil fuel, to run farm machinery, transport the oil, and refine it. Also, soya beans are often grown on former tropical forest land (for example in Brazil), where very many tons of carbon have been burnt to clear the forest. So probably not.
Beeswax candles should be OK though -- the carbon is from flower nectar and so is renewable. Just a bit of power to melt and purify the wax (can even do this in the sun), and to transport the finished product. Takes a lot of bees though -- about five to ten grammes of honey per bee in its life, and much less wax than this. You'd need two or more hives to supply lighting for one person, but you'd have more honey than you could use!
Probably better to go for low-wattage high-efficiency electric lamps, or wait till daylight.

I suggest you better use "the moon light" instead of "a candle". That's 100% help to reduce global warming. There is no Carbondioxide, or other toxic, no tree or animal to be killed for oil or glycerine and no even any string to be used.

If by help global warming you mean reduce it, NO
A candle is a very inefficient form of light with lots of pollutants and greenhouse gasses per lumen.
As for soy candles - you're still burning something for light, same rules apply.

Most candles are made using paraffin, a petroleum product. You be the judge.

That is ridiculous, you will be releasing CO2 carbon dioxide into the air and make things even worse, at least the factories have been made to make electricity efficient and thats why it costs less and is less harmful. Otherwise wake up at 5am and go to bed at 8pm when it gets dark.

yes off course..because it generates CO2. CO2 has more affinity to absorber heat in day time than other gases.
