I am in the army. Im going to be stationed in Korea. but im not sure what part of korea that im being stationed at. Do you know any web sites that I can go to to find out what part of Korea Im being sent to.

Go to the 2nd Infantry Division Homepage, link below. You'll fly probably into Osan airbase, bus ride to Seoul (That's an eye opener) and then go to the replacement detachment where you'll spend part of a day or maybe overnight. Then its off to the Turtle farm up in Tong Du Chon where you'll take a few days to in process. There are those not assigned to the 2INF Div, but that's where most go. Then, you'll be sent to one of many camp's between Seoul and the 38th Parallel. Its a fast year, I got out, saw allot of Korea, enjoyed the food, going shopping at the markets and what not. make the best of it.

I thought it was your husband getting stationed there, Marcy. Anyway, he won't know until he processes in to reception battalion in country.

you won't know until you get there. there is a central processing station that you report to, and from there, they will tell you where you are going and what unit you are assigned to.

until you know your unit there is no telling. Once you know i'd check the web site for the branch you are in.

There are none to find out where your going, once you get to the replacement you will find out.
