So you are a Dodge truck owner talking ****!!!!
Yeah, that is a knee-slapper all right, juvenile, but a knee-slapper none-the-less.

armando, the reason why you compare a stang with a supercharger to a vette without one is because you are comparing best bang for the buck. a stang with a procharger still costs about 10-15k LESS then a vette without one and the stang is faster. So if you want the fastest car for the least amount of money the stang is the one. Now if you want the fastest stock car regardless of cost then the vette is faster but you have to spend 20 thousand dollars more to own it. Not a great financial move when you can buy a stang and for 5k add a procharger and be a 1/2 second to full second faster in the 1/4 mile

It aint just the truck owners, its all of them. You complain about the crap talkers when I hear it from everyone with every opinion on what they think is best. Ford has the most tow and payload out their hands down ! People think that the new Hemi is this bad *** motor, when in all reality its just a stock v8. Their not even close to the old school Hemi. Hemi just stands for the shape of the head (Hemispherical), not super power. I have a neighbor who turns wrenches for Dodge and says the Hemi is always in the shop being worked on and they rarely get 100k before serious problems start happening. Dodge couldnt make the tough truck stats and sold to the germans.

First mistake, folks in the South Drive Fords and Chevys. Second mistake you moved from the North to the South and expected folks to change for you. Folks in the South argue over whether Ford or Chevy is better...Dodge isn't even a consideration, especially after the Germans, who most of them had to go over and change their government, bought and sold them. Lastly, most southern folks use their trucks to earn a living and they are very proud of their cars and even more so of their trucks...mess with a Southern's dog they get irratted...mess with their car, they get hot...mess with there truck they get down right irrate. Mess with all three and you get to meet St. Pete....get the point yet??? And as a Finally, no Southerner let you hook your chains to his truck...Ford or Chevy. For the last reason above. So if you want respect, how about you treat others with respect and dont just expect them to cow tow to you cause your the big city boy who drives a truck, wears boots, and acts all tough and you have never hauled hay, cut tobacco, picked cotton, cut and split wood or even thought about sweating on a farm. You wanna brag about Dodge, head to the nearest big city to hang out with the other Urban Cowboys slick.

We have two Ford plants in Louisville. One of them is the truck plant which makes the Super Duty's. So there are a lot of people here that make their living from Ford.
Ford has been the best selling truck for 30 years in a row. That should tell you something. A Ford power stroke will do some towing or hauling. Ask guys who have owned a Power Stroke and a Chevy or Dodge, and see which one he likes best for getting the job done.
Either way, I'm just glad that you bought American. good luck.

Go to a junk yard and see how many Ford pick up trucks you find there. Hardly any. The dang things will last forever. Only decent thing the Ford motor company has made.

I'm not sure why. I can tell you that my dad is a ford man and I asked him a similar question and he told me,
'I'd rather push a Ford then drive a Chevy any day of the week!"
What ever that means, good luck in your search for the truth. I'll watch this question to see what other "Ford" pushers have to say.

BECAUSE we CAN!
If you pulled a 5.7, good for you.
I doubt that you can pull my 1986 F350 with the 6.9 (NA and stock)
My quad cab is still ready to go to work after 21 years, get back to me when it is 42, and your "Hemi" is 21
By The Way, I have seen the head ports of the new "Hemi" and they are circular, NOT hemispherical

thats all ford owners not just ford truck owners. If you ask me people with mustangs are worse. They talk about their car hauls *** and it will beat the crap out of a corvette with a stock engine, I always say well take that procharger out and go head to head with the vette, either that or race a vette with a supercharger in it as well. But yea all ford owners are just all talk. jokes on them, fords break easy.
