Yes... several times, yet he always repented. He was a man after God's heart... walking in integrity, truth, and righteousnness... his heart was fully devoted to God.

Yes, God gets angry, but His anger differs from ours in 3 ways:

1) It takes Him a long time to get angry.
2) His anger usually doesn't last very long.
3) He always has a good reason for doing so.

Anytime a believer sins (including King David), God is angry, but probably more sorrowful than angry.

Oh YEAH he made God mad! If you really think about it, most of the people in the Bible who were so close to God made him mad at sometime.

I mean look at all the crap David did man!
He didn't obey God.
He lusted after another man's wife when he already had SEVERAL of his own!

THEN
He set it up for that man, one of his own soldiers who put his LIFE ON THE LINE for DAVID to be KILLED because he wanted his wife. and he got her too!

ON TOP OF THAT
He never diciplined his children so they grew up hateful and jealous of him. Absolom and David were at war for years because of it!

BUT the good part is, God still loved him and forgave him.
