Technically, no you dont. But I say you should. If your putting a turbo my guess is you want to squeeze as much horsepower as you can, so I would replace every stock part for performance parts. Stock parts arent really built for performance.

Yes you do. Your gunna run lean. hi flow fuel pump (Walbro is a good brand) fuel pressure regulator and injectors all the good stuff. Also your gunna have to play with the ECU to account for all of this. But a turbo in a 97 Nissan maxima?!?!?!? wow ummm save your money buddy.

you can run mild boost [5 to 7 psi] on most stock engines without the injectors needing to be upgraded. Maybe a bit higher. More than that though and injectors should be added to your shopping basket along with a remapped ECU to take advantage of them.

I do not think a 11 year old engine will take kindly to that much air being forced into it. Yes bigger injectors new pistons good valve job new engine bearings new timing chains. Or pile on the boost on a old motor and blow it up!

I agree with John Paul... Its pretty foolish to do that to your 11 year old car. Are you trying to blow it up? How much power do you expect to get to the pavement with a FWD setup? At this point, the total cost of a turbo install is more than the value of the car itself.
