Hi whats going on i am an young lame that been running about 1.5 miles and walking 1.5 tha past week and i haven t seen any weight loss i usally eat ceral and ceral bar in morning then in tha evening i eat 1 peice of bread with ham with small bag of chips then for dinner i usally eat meat and then greens of some sort after that i ussally workout like i said walk 1.5 miles then i run about 1.5 miles after i eat i been doing this for about two weeks and i havent seen any weight loss i am not going over 2000 cals an day so i dont know what i am doing wroung what should i be expecting at my age of 24 i mean just to let yall know my story i was born an fat kid about 300 lbs in high school then when i got out i got an job started working and walking there and my weight went down to about 215 lbs with diett pills zantrax 3 and hot rox once i loss all this weight i stopped takeing them now i am back at 230. now i cant lose weight with them what are some of the foods i can not eat

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Some people just can't lose weight. You may just have a slow metabolism or fast anabolism. Have you talk to your doctor about it?

if you re having trouble getting started make a small move such as starting an eating log or buying walking shoes you re three times more likely to follow through if you start with small gestures such as these
