They were told that they were to be resettled in the East. And that there was a place for them. They had official orders to move or the Gestapo merely took them by force. Most were slaughtered onsite on arriving.
Those that survived the initial briefing were told to write postcards to those left behind. This was common as Auschwitz.
Then brutally massacered by forced labor.
Having family members myself and spending alot of time with old Jewish families in Germany that survived. They were really cut off from what was going on.
There weren't headlines, news reports, just rumors.
When there was knowledge, a group of Jews at several concentration camps with the help of those outside tried to fight back. Some were hanged, some were shot. But they weren't sheep sent to the slaughter.

1. It's hard to fight back when the conflict is one family at a time against well-armed storm troopers.

2. Even in the midst of the holocaust, the public didn't know the full extent of what was going on. People wanted to believe that a civilized society would eventually come to its senses and let everyone go.

Well they probably did, but they didnt have time to form an 'army' as during the 30's the policing in Germany was part of the problem. So its a bit difficult to fight an evil superpower that took most of the developed world working together to beat...

they were not a nation then. they were just a group of scattered people. no one was there to rally them to fight during WW2.

but it was a different case during the Six Day War, which happened when the nation of Israel was formed.

the muslim nations begin attacking Israel.

what did the Jews do this time round? having a nation now, they gathered, and rallied the people to fight. they used simple farming materials and tools to build mortars and weapons and grenades, to fend off those muslim aggressors.

then the West came to the nation's aid with weapons comparable to the muslim nations.

and the Jews won the war, humiliating the muslims by capturing muslim lands.

go read up on Six Day War, and you know God is with the JEWS and not the muslims.

first off, the entire german society had been poisoned against them. secondly, they had no weapons to fight with, so they couldn't fight back. thirdly, no one else would help, because every other country hated the jews as well. and finally, in a dictatorship with informers and secret police, it's hard to do anything against the government. you say hey should have fought back, but you offer no suggestion for how this could have happened. there really wasn't anything they could do

If you're really interested in this awful time in history go to the library and get some books. It's much more complicated than your questions suggests.

Well, its not as if they had a nation with an army, they didn't.
