This is not unusual. It sees it's reflection and thinks there is a bird in your house. Use masking tape and tape paper on the outside of this window. Hope it works. I have heard of birds going to other windows in the same house.

This activity prevents them from finding a bird mate. Duh - what is wrong with them? Maybe they should NOT breed anyway.

Maybe it wants to go into your house or the bird sees something in their that it wants?

if u r geting bothered up then why dont try sticking up paper on the window or just lower down the blinds!

it's a cardinal and a male at that. They are highly territorial and he can see his reflection in the window thinking its a another male . he wants a fight.
