i have dirty blonde hair. i've heard about using lemon juice and water or some sort of tea to make your hair blonder, but i've also heard that this might damage your hair. is this true? what should i do?
if the lemon juice does work, what sort of shade of blonde does it come out as??

ive done it before
and its noticable but not like WOW

sometimes you can buy highliting spray from beauty stores
they work better and its easier to make a precise streak hope this helped :)

Lemon juice won't hurt your hair. Just put it in your hair where you want it to be lighter in color and go sit in the sun for a while. There is also a product you can buy called Sun In and it will also lighten your hair with no damage. Your hair will probably be a few shades lighter than the light brown...maybe a more golden color.

no. It wont damage but here is a recipe that Marilyn Monroe.

Broil 1 cup of water, with half cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of chamomile tea, half a cup of vinegar and here's the best part: 1 cup of champaigne & 1/4 perixiode! Any kind. Mix well and drain hair in it. sit in the sun for 20-40 min then rinse!!!!

Use lemon juice. it might sound wierd, but it works amazenly trust me and its soo much cheaper than other hair products

i would just get herbal essence highlights. it doenst damage your hair and is inexpensive. and it gives your hair a multitonal color not just vibrant blonde.
