electronic ticket for an airline. If you buy anywhere online (expedia, travelocity, or even at an airline site - Alaska Air, Delta, etc.) at most they send you an email with the itinerary. You can print that out, or mostly you don't even have to print it out anymore, but it is best to print it so you have the details at hand. But when you go to check in, you either show them your print out, or just give them your name, and they check the computer. No official hard copy ticket is involved.

E tickets were the best tickets in a Disneyland ticket book. Back in the day (up until sometime in the '80s, I believe) each ride at Disneyland required a ticket to board. E tickets got you on the best rides at that time like The Matterhorn and Space Mountain, and there were only a few of them in each book of tickets. Disneyland phased out tickets for the more popular model of one admission, unimited rides more than 20 years ago, and the phrase "E ticket" is slowly fading away, but you still hear it once in a while. An "E ticket" experience means one of the highest quality available.
If you really want an E ticket for some reason, you may be able to find one on (giggle) E-Bay...
OH YEAH, as stated below, they now call airline tickets purchased online and printed out in advance of going to the airport E tickets... guess my oldschool is showing :P

If you're referring to something really good. It is probably in reference to the E tickets that Disneyland used to sell. To go on all rides at Disneyland now, you pay just one price for the ticket when you enter. Many years ago, you used to pay for each ride individually. The better the ride, the more is cost. The rides were sold as A tickets, B tickets, C tickets, D tickets and E tickets. E tickets cost the most and were for the best rides. So the expression an E ticket usually refers to "the best".
