A lot if they can be used as application technics while doing abstract art.

This may not be 'great art' but it's certainly fun to do, creative and lets the imagination run free:

(You can click on the stupid thing to enlarge, but not enrage, the image to see the details.)

What odd-ball ‘tools’ have you used to effect certain results? Anything really weird or unusual that was capable of producing really cool effects?

Zoltar, that's some really amazing finger work on your 'Winter Cat' painting and on the 'Palette Painting.'

You are talking about 'Eye Candy' , Doc. Lots of fun but I gave all that a rest years ago and don't use any of those things any more.....not even brushes. I use my finger only to paint now; very direct and effective. Often it is wrapped in a cloth for softening.

I used a coffee machine,
My 1 year old kid brother, (Just let him crawl through some non toxic paint)
Blood straight from a cut finger (not cut on purpose but used the opportunity)
Extra wide broom. (2 meters 6 feet)
Water bombs (with paint) dropped from a high building.
My feet
.. and many more.

Very nice :)

I have used the ends of pine needles clumps, strings, straws.. I usually just stick with brushes and knives and the regular ol' stuff.

zoltar, your work is amazing!
