A person can never fully understand faith and its power without first coming to Christ regardless of their belief or disbelief in God. The first step toward faith is accepting Christ as your personal Savior. John 1:12.

"But as many as received him , to them God gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name".

Revelation 3:20
Jesus said: "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man will hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

That was everything for me... the spiritual relationship with Jesus... I loved Jesus, I loved what He taught and wanted Him in every aspect of my life. Then the more I sought this relationship, I found it... He came into my life and I felt a connection to God like never before. He began to teach me more and more everyday... I can't exactly say when I was "saved"... but I believe it was around the age of 14 or 16. Salvation, was a process for me, and I'm still in the process.

Faith comes from the study of God's word.

Romans 10:17 (King James Version)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith doesn't "come from" a personal relationship with Jesus. Faith is the means to finding and developing a personal relationship with Jesus.

That's it, it's confirmed in me! I'm a Catholic. I've heard so many things from so many sides and read so many scripture passages saying this and that, and you know what? The Catholic arguments WITH SCRIPTURE PASSAGES were the most clear. "Unless you eat the flesh, and drink the blood of the Son of Man, you do not have eternal Life", "He Breathed Unto them and told them 'Go, and those who's sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in heaven, and those who's sins you've retained on earth are retained in heaven'".

I have solid scriptural proof for the Catholic Sacriments of the Eucharist and Confession.

You may find some obscure passage to try to condemn that, but it will be MUCH LESS clear cut and simple, and will be out of context.
