Sweden is pretty nice. It doesn't get incredibly hot, and most everybody speaks English as well as several other languages. But I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'ghetto'. Sweden has a lot of immigrants, mainly because of where it is located, would that be a problem? Other than that, it is a truly beautiful place. I suppose the only other con I can think of at the moment are the horrible taxes. But really, an amazing place. :)

There are lots of nice places in the US--and I'm not American. If you have an inability to fit into your own culture, you will have difficulty to fit into another as well.
I have lived in Taiwan for many years now, and I have learned that people who reject their own culture cannot fit in here either.
If you really want to move away from the US, what is your financial position? Malaysia, for example, grants renewable five-year "guest visas" with a view to encouraging foreigners to settle. The income and asset test is not onerous--just enough to make sure that the applicant will not be a burden on Malaysian society.

well you could move to Antarctica if you're that desperate. or you could move to mount. Fuji, japan. there are so many beautiful views there and it's very quiet and peaceful. i don't think there is a lot of pollution. people in japan are very friendly so you won't have to face nasty people, although you may have to give away your American citizenship. people there usually speak english, if not then they would use hand signs like crossing their arms to say no. hope you make a good choice! :D

Many other American countries that you could look at. Watch the Travel Channel, they have several shows about moving abroad. Also some Caribbean islands would be great.

you sound like a picky person. you are lucky you don't live in a ghetto and have the option to live where you want. and instead of complaining about these "ghetto people" why don't you do something to help their condition, get them out of the ghetto and into an environment that's healthy for everyone. you can't just lock yourself away and ignore the problems of the world. if everyone did that then nothing would ever be accomplished for the betterment of humanity.

Before you go expatriot on us, try Upstate NY. The Saratoga Springs area is beatiful, and its right in the foot-hills of the Adirondack Park, which is a state forest preserve larger than the entire state of connecticut. No humidity in summer.
