I really don't see any 'hidden truths' in the painting. What he has done is incorporate multiple references to the lives of both Dean and Monroe and these seen fairly obvious to those who know something of Hollywood lore. The Porche Dean was driving when he died in the crash, the famous wind blown skirt from a Monroe photo shoot in New York, the name of the dinner 'Norma Jean' was Marilyn Monroe's real name, etc.
These, at least to me, aren't so 'hidden.'

Wow... those 2 answers make me think neither of you get the concept behind art in general, these pieces in particular, nor the lives of ANY of the stars depicted.
I actually see no motorcycle in this painting. However, the driver s side of James Dean s Parsche Spyder is. The side you don t see was inscribed with "Little Bastard". The gas pump on the left shows his birth date as the price/ gas pumped, and the one on the right that he leans against shows the date of his crash in Bakersfield California.
Nearly every number you see in one of Consani s prints is pertinent to one of the depicted Characters. And the references hidden throughout the prints / paintings are what are considered the "Hidden Truth" series.

Well first off. the Harley in the picture is completely wrong for that machine. The Carb,filter,and breather are on the wrong side of the bike. That tells me the artist didn't know "squat" about Destiny's Highway. It is a nice picture though. But Marilyn and Jimmy were leagues apart as far as stardom. It wasn't until he was killed in that crash on Sept. 1955 did he become an "Icon" of rebelry
