What exactly are you supporting? The breaking of American laws?

If you're so worried about these people why not join together and form a non-profit group that would aid them in attaining the means to come here legally?

Just to clarify- This question was posed to American Supporters of the Illegal Immigrants.

I want to know why they are supporting people who break the law to get here?

I understand their lives suck where they come from. But I can cite countless examples of American born citizens who need our American tax dollar paid help before they do.

I just want to know why they support an illegal answer to the problem instead of pooling together in a positive, legal way to help these people.

c;mon bet you never miss a chrismas gift!!!
I know people that the best gift for chrismas was a glass of milk!!!
they deserve better and they are going to be better in america !!!

why do they deserve better? they break our laws, the refuse to try to fix their own country.. all they want is to become a leach on america.

i see them protesting the american government to give them citizenship... why didnt they do this in their own countries?
instead, they chose to ignore american laws, and we are supposed to respect them?
i respect every single legal immigrant, who took the time to become an american, and will follow all our laws.
Instead of demanding your government change, you demanded my government to change. what say do you have in how america works? what have you invested into this country to have a say?
has any of your family ever died in a war to protect americans constitution? do you even know what our constitution is? illegal immigrants want to drain america of its wealth, want americans to protect them, even though they will never die for america, they want everything, but dont want to sacrifice. guess what.. you deserve nothing.

Immigration is a Federal problem not a State issue. The government stopped doing there job back when RR was President. And all that followed, both Republican and Democrat, failed the people of the USA. I support safe borders and immigration for those who obey/ follow the laws we have on immigration. It's the government that messed up and it's about time they fixed there mess. We need to make adjustments for those we allowed into the country. It was the governments disregard for the laws they made that made this mess. The immigrants came here because the government allowed them to, so I can almost understand there anger. It is not fair but we have to be fair to those who came legally and want to become citizens. I'M for immigration of legal people but we cannot afford 20-40 million of them. Something must be done, but with people like Kennedy in charge with his Socialistic/communistic views, there isn't much hope that any type of good legislation will be created. Peace

The first Mexicans to become part of the United States never crossed any border. Instead, the border crossed them.
Spanish-speaking people have lived in North America since the Spaniards colonized Mexico in the sixteenth century, and Mexicans have always played a crucial role in the continent's culture and history. Mexican culture brought many firsts to North America: The first Thanksgiving took place in either New Mexico or El Paso; the first university in North America was founded in Mexico City; the first printing press on the continent arrived in Mexico in 1538, more than a century before printing came to New England.
In 1846, everything changed. War broke out between the U.S. and Mexico over the U.S. annexation of Texas. Mexico was defeated, and in 1848 the two nations signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. This treaty gave the victorious nation an enormous amount of land, including what would later become the states of California and Texas, as well as parts of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada, in exchange for a token payment of $15 million.
One more important piece of land changed hands in 1854, when the U.S. bought what is now southern Arizona and New Mexico from the Mexican government for $10 million. This land deal, known as the Gadsden Purchase, brought the U.S. a much-coveted railroad route, and helped open the West to further expansion.
With two strokes of a pen, the larger nation had expanded its size by one-third. And almost overnight, tens of thousands of Mexican citizens had become residents of the United States.

White people in Unites States descend from English. That will make them immigrants, and they are not from America like mexican or other hispanic people (yes, Hispanics are Americans because they were born in the America continent), they are from Europe. That would make white people even more immigrant that they already are. So, who was here first?

America laws have been mostly used in the past to keep people in their place. Native Americans were murdered in record numbers, I have never heard of any nation in the world, but America that imprisoned every man, women and child of a nation The Cihuacahua Apaches, that took an army of 50,000 american troopers to fight 12 Apache warriors! they imprisoned even the Apache scouts that help them track down the Apaches. To this day the Cihuacahua"s have not been allowed to return to their home land.
Then they had the black problem, The blacks are the only group that involuntary immigrated to this country they were strip of their culture and enslaved by your forefathers, How many of you ever heard of the case of Emmet Till? look it up you may learn something about American law. You have long used the same tactics aganist the blacks, the one I remember the most is"they live on welfare but there is a new Cadillac parked in their garage"
Now you turn on us, the Texas Border was on the Neuces River, Americans claimed that it was on the Rio Grande ,America soildiers entered Mexican territory and were attacked by Mexican troops, In Washington there was a cry for war, Mexican attacked American troops on American soil. half of Mexico was taken from Mexico as the spoils of war. and all the Mexican residing in the southwest, became Americans not by choice but by the results of that war.
Not all people came to this country by choice, Now you are worried about the growing minority population.
You and your Fore fathers only have yourselves to blame.!!

You know the most amazing thing is that we are called racist for demanding that the laws be upheld....and yet La Raza, which if I am not mistaken means The Race are being looked at like they are victims. This amazes me, then I am told that the white man stole this land. No, we won, and bought this land, and then paid off debts owed to the US, when at that time Texas wasn't even a part of. What about the Spaniards that took land, and enslaved the Native Central American Indians?? Where are their just dues?? It is time for Americans to stand up, salute the flag, and remember what we are about, and where we came from! I know our fore fathers wouldn't have stood for this! Hell, they fought a war for this land, and won.....whatever happened to American Pride?? My brother-in-law is American of Mexican heritage, and you know which flag he salutes?? OLD GLORY!! He is PROUD to be an American. I do not care for anyone who INVADES my country and DEMANDS to be treated with the same respect as the ones who came legally, and THEN SPITS ON OUR FLAG AND BELIEFS!!!! Embrace our values, our language, our history, and our flag or GET OUT!

Why should we do ANYTHING for ILLEGALS? They do not deserve a thing from us. They have disrespected the country and our laws by coming here illegally. The reform bill will just confirm that we are the biggest pushover of a country in the world. That people are welcome to come in and break our laws, oh well, thats okay. The people that are citizens or legal immigrants have to abide by all laws or else we are punished. We should all just forget our ID's and claime we are illegal and we would be able to commit false identities or identity theft and get no punishment. Does that make sense to you? Apparently so, if you support illegals or want to do anything for them.

The Vast majority of immigrants to this country came here legally. To allow these illegal immigrants to stay and short circuit the system is a slap in the face. To allow them access to services and funds not available to legal immigrants is not only unethical but immoral. We need to resolve this by rounding them up and sending them back to Mexico. I feel that Bush comes a lot closer to committing the "high crimes and misdemenors" for his support of this amnesty than he does for Iraq. This is also true of Ted Kennedy and others of his ilk in the Senate.

in case you had some form of complication-loose experience you are able to understand that the only reason they choose the citizenship is by using the fact they choose an everlasting permission to paintings and stay right here legally.Their desires have not something to do with what they choose or could desire to be.And the motives they don't choose to be "American" is by using the fact they don't choose/could desire to.Mexico is between the SOUTHERN international locations of NORTH u . s .,and as a result,Mexicans are already individuals, not purely u . s ..if so then you answer this:in case you or your ancestors had to return and be like the actual individuals, then does not it make experience which you study the community American languages(sure there are a number of distinctive community communities). Why the F*U*C*ok could desire to WE study your eu(English)language?the only reason we lost our community American cultures is by using Europeans like the British/English/Spaniards that invaded and stole our land.we are in reality taking revenge, interior the precise way U destroyed our background, purely much less violently.....yet!!

Yes but Sergio, their entire life here depends on breaking the law and getting the government to forgive them. Hell, Americans do relief work everywhere, if they quit pi**ing us off, maybe they could get America to send some aid to their country and fix it. Wouldn't people who have the nationalistic pride they claim rather have that then come here, break our laws, and destabalize our country?
Lets all call this what it is, an invasion of a foreign force intent on the destruction of our country.

Oreo; profanity is profanity even in Spanish. And yes their is something we can do, "THEY FORGOT TO TAKE AWAY OUR GUNS BEFORE TRYING TO GIVE YOU OUR COUNTRY." We still outnumber you, we have kicked your A** before, and we are getting P**sed.

It is only a crime if a law says so. Changing laws in a young country that doesn't have it all together yet is a good thing. A little over a hundred years ago slavery was legal and women couldn't vote. Those that supported change were criticized in the same way that those supporting immigration reform are today. Undocumented immigrants are today's second class citizens. And those that believe in equality for all support reforming the laws not breaking them. Those that are already here can pay their fees to get right with the law in the same way you can pay for your speeding ticket. No need to make a felony out of trying to support your family. Martin Luther King Jr, Mahatma Gandhi, and Jesus Christ all would have supported giving a helping hand to our southern neighbors in need.
