Both my wife and I like Jimmie Johnson the best. She met me in 2001 and that's when he ran his first few races in the cup series. She didn't really get into racing until the next season, his first year driving full time in the the Winston Cup Series. He impressed us from the get go and it worked out that he has been the best (statistically speaking) since then. He is a pretty decent guy and doesn't cause a lot of problems on or off the track. I really like his consistency and patience during races. It's fun to brag him up because he has the stats and championship to back it up. He's had just a little bad luck this year but is looking poised to make yet another solid run at the championship.

I like Jimmie Johnson. He is a great driver. He's got a lot of talent. He's usually pretty consistent, which is good. I've been following since his rookie season. I'm very impressed with him and the way he drives. I'll be fan of his for life.

He is an awesome driver. Not my favorite, but kudos deserved.
I tried to give my grandson a Jimmie Johnson "doll" this week - you know like Ken & Barbie size - my daughter had a fit her sons do not play with dolls. Really, it was Jimmie Johnson not a doll.

Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver, but that Jimmie Johnson is a really close second.

I use to hate him. He needed a lot cheese every week. Now I just dislike him. I hope Jr beats the pants off him and Gordon next year! Glad for Jr cuz he's Rick's buddy, But don't really like the fact he's teaming up with Gordon and Johnson. Mears, Awesome though!

I like him. I think he has earned his championship unlike a couple of Rousch drivers that just had it handed to them. Everyone on this site want to whine and cry about this one or that one. These guys only drive the cars they don't build them that is someone else's job. I've always been for just about anyone that drives for Hendrick, just like I'm against anyone that drives for Rousch. There have been a few exceptions of course, Craven for one, but nest year there will be one drive I will keep hoping he proves that no matter who he drives for He's still a loser, and will be out of people to blame.

Been a fan since his rookie year when i learned about Nascar and started watching.. had to pick someone to follow so i thought a rookie would be cool. now i am glad i picked him
He may have troubles with Chad getting him fined and such but he doesnt take his agression out on field or off.. gotta admire that.. hes got a good head on him

I think that he is a great Driver, man the guy has been in Nascar for 5 years and already he has made a name for himself, he is going to win a few more championships throught his career.
