ABSOLUTELY, I WOULD ENCOURAGE OTHER PEOPLE TO GO TO CHURCH, I DO IT ALL THE TIME. IT SADDENS ME BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T WANT GOD IN THEIR LIFE,AND HAVE BEEN REJECTED SO MANY TIMES I PRAY FOR THEM, I TELL THEM HOW MUCH JESUS LOVES THEM AND WHAT HE WILL DO FOR THEM IF THEY ONLY WOULD LET HIM IN.....I GIVE MY TESTIMONY TO ALL WHO WANTS TO LISTEN, I AM GLAD I HAVE JESUS IN MY LIFE,AND I KNOW HE IS WITH ME ALL THE TIME, THANK YOU JESUS FOR FIXING MY BROKEN HEART,AND FELLING ME WITH YOUR LOVE.......I LOVE YOU JESUS....

There's a lot to good to be said about going to church, but not every church will meet the needs of every single person. If for no other reason, statistics have shown that people who attend church, any church, regularly, will live 7 years longer than people who do not. Part of it is life-style, sure, less smoking and drinking and risky behavior; but there is also the issue of peace of mind.
Once a person has found a church they are comfortable with, and since in the USA there are hundreds of different kinds of churches, and there are many different churches in Europe as well (although not quite as many), there is something to truly remarkable about setting ones schedule by church services and being able to spend that time meditating, singing and learning ones place in the cosmos. It is, in many ways, a truly transcendent experience.
Would I encourage someone else to attend church? Absolutely! However, I would also caution them and remind them what I have said above ... that is, not every church is meant for every person and it may take some searching. We look to find the best restaurant, the best schools for us and for children, the best grocery store, and yes, we have to search for the best church as well. Given that, attending church can open up ones mind and bring peace to the soul. What could be better?

I'm not a terribly religious person. I actually took a test that said I'm the best fit for "Universal Unitarianism". I think church can be a good thing if you are serious about it. It's a fantastic place to meet like minded people and create a safe and reliable social network. If I was religious I'd encourage people to go to church. It's just not my thing. I prefer joining athletic groups.

Well, i love to go to my home church. If i ever go on holiday, my church would be my top no 1 miss list!
I do not have many close friends in church but i go there mainly because of the wonderful Word being preached and the anointing presence of the Lord during every service.
Not to mention my senior pastor is a good looking dude! hahahah!

I like to invite people to church. I realize that there are a lot of people who might feel uncomfortable going all by themselves. So, I offer to meet them outside the church and walk in with them, show them around and sit with them. I think this helps them or hope it does.

No, I would not encourage others to go to church nor would I ever go to church again. The only good thing about church is the food at some of them.

In order to grow in ones faith it is necessary to have a structured approach to studying Scripture and worshiping God. Church is the primary setting for that. Whether you go is your decision to make, but Bible study and worship are the essential tentacles of spiritual growth.

Church people care for and support one another, and in our best moments, we are accepting and loving even when we experience each other's brokenness.
