Koolaid, I recommend that you put the Bible first in your reading.
It's hard to answer about other books, not knowing where you live or how old you are.
CS Lewis wrote a good book called "Mere Christianity". he's been dead for a while, so it's not too expensive. It's short, and meant to be an easy read.
If you really want anything thought provoking: read Charles Colson's books. They'll exercise your brain.
If you want good devotional stuff, read Chuck Swindoll. He's got a bunch. I liked "hand me another brick".
John MacArthur wrote a good one called "Our sufficiency in Christ" which deals with the meat of the faith, and knowing why you can believe the Bible.
To understand the nature of spiritual things, a really great old book is "Pilgrim's progress" by John Bunyan. Very helpful to understand the Christian life. But, it's a little hard to read if you aren't familiar with old English. Still fun though.
But, don't neglect just reading the Gospels. I like to keep reading them regularly.

Aside from the Bible (A great study one for teens is the Extreme Teen Study Bible, it comes in a few different versions), the Jesus Freaks series by DC Talk are wonderful. And though his books are not necessarily about teaching theology, I enjoy Mitch Albums books very much. And if you are looking for a good Devotional, Sister Freaks by Rebecca St. James is a good one.
And of course there is always The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I'd suggest Mere Christianity but some people have found it to be a hard read.

I like the Left Behind Series. There is a kids version too, plus movies for books 1-3! It tells all about the signs of the times, and how Jesus is coming back soon! It's very interesting, as long as you are a Christian...

The Spirit Filled Believer's Handbook is a pretty good read on foundational topics.
Of course the Bible itself is a good read and free if you have internet access at biblegateway.com
And as mentioned... Narnia is a classic.

'In Defense Of The Faith' by Dave Hunt is foundational.
'Praying Hyde' or 'The Auto-biogrphy of George Mueller' either one or both.
'Zvi' was a terrific book.
'Pilgrims Progress in Today's English'
I highly recommend each one of these.
Hope this helps. :)

The Book of the Lord.
Isaiah 34:16
"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them."
You should study the bible in order for you NOT TO ERR.
Matthew 22:29
"Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. "
For the things that are written in the scriptures are written to our learning.
1 Corinthians 10:11
"Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. "
And they can make you equipped.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
" All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. "

If you mean religious texts, there are apocrypha deletions and Bible testaments on this, EarlyChristianWritings.com
I would read Valentinus, or the Gospel of Truth.
