It is this kind of thinking that keeps the racial divide growing in this country. We are all people, people who have differences. Differences are what makes us unique individuals with unique and important cultural histories. There is no reason why two people from two different backgrounds cannot be together. It does not bastardize or compromise either culture the two people come from. Why do we need to discuss community in terms of "black" or "hispanic"? Why can't we all be part of the same community as humans who all inhabit the same planet? I'd also be interested to know what constitutes a "white" lifestyle? Is it a "white" lifestyle because he is successful or because he doesn't dress like a gangster or walk around with a gun calling his women "b 1 tches"? You are perpetuating negative stereotypes of black individuals. There is so much wrong with this question that I can barely touch on all the points. It is racist and that is the bottom line.

44 yrs ago, I, a white male, fell in love with a black female. At that time, the world was not ready for interracial couples. There were only 3 places in all of Chicago that would even let us in the door. My family barred her from their house. Her family was cordial to me, but not happy. Our love was not strong enough to withstand that kind of pressure. Personally, I am glad that the world is reaching a point where a couple's skin color does not matter. And Pamela, if you happen to read this, I still think of you whenever I hear our song, or whenever I see an interracial couple.

People can date and marry whom ever they please. Are you surprised that Tiger married a white woman? I'm not. After all he doesn't consider himself Black..although his appearance says otherwise. Why didn't he marry an Asian woman..someone like his mother? Who knows but regardless of what his genetic background is or isn't. I'm certain Asians don't see him as an Asian male and Whites don't see him as a White male. At the end of the day he's still a Black man. Here's a thought...maybe he ACTUALLY loves his wife and that's why he's making a life with her.

I would hope (and am confident) that his wife was choice of love.
Tiger is a pretty smart guy.
He doesn't need a trophy wife.
In fact he seems to keep her pretty well hidden. I'd guess he wishes nobody knew or bothered about her.
He is also half Asian, with a non-American mother, and half Black.
So why don't you think he should choose an Asian wife perhaps instead of a Black one?

Tiger Woods can do whatever he wants. He is Tiger Woods! You are just ranting. Really, how is he fleeing his black culture? It aint like black people dance around the jungle fire in America. The culture is the same.

How can u say that? there is no link between race and love-u can't help who you fall in love with. to say he's a disgrace to his race is exactly what keeps racism going. your sad if the only thing you can find to talk about is someone else's interracial child and your a complete idiot if you think people are going to respond to this in a positive way
get over yourself

First off, Tiger Woods is not black, he is "mixed" as you so nicely put it. He is half asian and half black. Secondly, marraige and family is about love not about skin color. Secondly, the black community would have to achieve something to fail. Thirdly, how can he be more black? Should he follow the stereotypes and talk like a moron and be proud to be stupid and join a gang? How does one act white? By being sophisticated and speaking intelligently? Seems like a stupid question to me.

Tiger Woods is not Black.
He is a mixture of Asian, Black, White, and Native American. His mother is pure Asian. He is not predominantly black, did not grow up in a black family, and does not relate to black American culture.
He married the woman that he loves. She is also a successful, intelligent woman who seems to be a very good fit for him.
I think that your comments are quite inappropriate.
