Tonight while walking I saw a lighting bug flying around me so I put my hand out palm side up and it volunteered landing on my hand. So as I walking I was talking to it and I showed it to my parents and it flew away...
Has that happen to anyone before???
Also what does it mean when a lighting bug land on your hand and just stayed there for like 2 or 3 minutes???

My interpretation of what happened to you was that the lighting bug landed in your hand because God was trying to say something to you. Maybe he was telling you you are the light of His eye of maybe it came so you could capture that special moment and show it to your parents. Whatever reason it came, I think it was pretty neat and maybe even good luck.

You have to watch those things if they bite you can get rocky mountain spotted lightning bug fever and your nose will light up at night

he was just thanking you for being part of a generation that doesn't capture them by the dozens and throw them in a jar by the bed, only to find them all dead in the morning. All hail the mighty A/C and it's miraculous powers of drawing people indoors, when they should be out. I love summer nights!
