I adopted this stray, outside cat about 3 months ago, and she got pregnant. A few weeks ago, this black female cat started hanging around (we tried to get rid of it 2xs, but it keeps coming back) and our pregnant cat didn't really like it. Right before she had her kittens, they were "friends". The black cat keeps coming by my cat's litter, and I'm not sure if it will hurt them. Please help me, and btw, both cats are outside.

no... they don't have names, yet. They were born about 4 hours ago, and i can't really get to them. My cat had her litter in a pile of firewood. I can get to her, but i didn't want to hurt her or frighten her by moving her.

I'm getting her spayed ASAP. I'm not sure how long i have to wait after she has kittens, but she's going to the vet tomorrow.

It's very unlikely that a female cat will do any harm to another cat's kittens; she is probably curious and perhaps it's bringing out her own maternal instincts. (A unneutered male cat will kill kittens that are not his.) Nonetheless, please watch them carefully.
Now's a good time for me to get on my soapbox and tell you to PLEASE have them spayed---both of them. There are far more kittens and puppies born each year than there are homes to take them into. MILLIONS are euthanized each and every year. If there's a financial difficulty, a shelter can help with the costs. Do it as soon as possible, if you have any conscience at all.

The kitty mom and her babies need to be inside. The other cat may just be curious about the kittens but, you can't be sure.
Find a quiet place inside like a closet, basement or a spare room and get a box with some towels in it. Then carefully move the Mom kitty and her babies in and make sure she has a litter box, food and water close by.
Give her lots of petting and talk to her so she isn't afraid and will let you hold the kittens and get them used to humans. When they are 8 weeks old you can start finding homes for them.
Make sure the mother kitty goes to a Vet to be spayed so she doesn't have another litter of kittens.

Bring the mom and her litter inside. Cats should not be outdoors for SO many reasons. Do some research about indoor vs outdoor cats on google.

Whenever you have kittens, and the other cats are going around it JUST SEPARATE THEM. They will most likely kill the kittens, so if you have a porch or seperate room, i recomend separating the other cats with the mother and the babies. SEPARATE for 8 weeks.

Either you need to bring the cat inside and take responsibility for her, or leave them to sort themselves out.
The vet would be able to spay her for you, unless you want litter after litter after litter for the SPCA.

Usually the tom cats kill kittens.
The other female may be curious or her maternal instincts may be showing. watch how they act together. You may need to intervine by bringing the mother and babies inside

The other cat may just be curious. Cats are like that. Monitor them and see how they get along.

If they're both female, then the kitten will be just fine. But please make a safe environment for the kitten for there are other threats. By the way, do they have names?
