When someone asks me to believe that my hair has turned pink, all that is required is that I locate the nearest mirror. If I tell someone that the house across the street is on fire, they will not believe me until they look out a window. If I ask them to prove to me that their drivers license exists, they know all that they need do is whip it out and show me.Why is proof required for all humans at every turn except when it comes to your imaginary god?
Why shouldn't it be just as easy to prove he exists?
Why can't someone just pull out their wallet and flash the picture they took with him while on summer vacation?
The "proof" that is always given when asked to prove the existence of your gods would never be acceptable in even the simplest of everyday situations requiring some form of evidence for you to believe.WTF?

Joe Citizen has the right idea.Let god come and pick me up for lunch,or at least catch me at the mall for a public appearance and sign an autograph, then we'll talk.
Have faith in one hand and sh*t in the other.See which one fills up faster...

Yes Christians seem to deal with reality perfectly except with regards to religion. They believe in a book with zombies and talking animals and 900 year old men but would never believe in these for a second outside their bible.

God the Son, Jesus, was on earth about 2000 years ago.
He performed miracles. He spoke the Scriptures with Authority. He died and arose from the dead. Over 500 witnessed Him in HIs resurrected body. Yet, many did not believe because their idea of what God should look like or do was not what they saw in Jesus. The Bible is extremely credible being historically and archaeologically accurate. Hundreds of it prophecies have been fulfilled. It was written over 2000 years by 40 different authors, inspired by God to reveal Himself to us.
This is how God chose to do it. It does require faith to believe in Him, but it is an evidentual faith, not a blind faith.

One of the "conditions" for being God is that no human can lay eyes on you and live. It practically guarantees that no-one will ever be able to prove your existence. You gotta have faith, baby! LOL!
edit: TEK, I just read the 10 Commandments in Exodus 34, and when I got to the one about "Thou shalt not boil a baby goat in it's mother's milk" I let out a shriek. Does that mean I'm a sinner and going to hell?

Hey Satan? What caused the Big Bang? Do you accept by faith, without evidence, that a tiny spinning ball of incredible mass blew itself up?
Do you understand the laws of physics? There's one that says that 'for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'. There's another that states that 'a stationary object will forever remain stationary until an outside force forces it into motion'. There's another that staes that 'if an object is in motion and there is nothing to stop it (such as friction), then it will stay in the same motion forever'.
Can you explain to me (if the big bang and evolution actually happened) why the big bang violated all these laws?
I will accept God by faith just as you will accept evolution by faith. I suppose you spent 13 years or so in public schools learning (being indoctrinated in) evolution. How many 'years' have you studied the creationist explanations?

You pose a fair question, but there is proof, though some don't see it as proof. First there are written documentation of God, and Jesus's actions on earth by eye witness accounts. Second people have experiences where only a divine intervention could have made it happen. Now please consider that faith is all around you as well. When you get married your spouse promises they will love you till they die, but where is the proof that this will happen? There is none, but you have faith. Proof is not always a necessity.

I have 2 Gods at home. 1 is 5 years old and another is 1 year old

They do not require evidence of god because:
They have faith, which was pushed into them from an early age.
It stops them thinking about ceasing to exist when they die. Also that they will get to meet their dead family members and loved ones again.
It stops them from having to think about where the Earth came from and where it is going.
When bad things happen, it's O.K. because it is part of The Plan and is the best thing in the long run. (just don't ask why.)
When they do something bad, then they can get forgiveness without having to face the people that actually suffered.

"God speaks to me. I see God" Anyone who feels this way should easily have by proof that would be more than convenient to share with the power of the Internet, how many have? None.

All the proof and evidence you need of God's holiness can be found in your heart's response to the ten commandments.
Go to Exodus 20 and read them.
If you hate to read it: you're a sinner. There's your mirror.
So, what are you going to do about it?
God's evidence is staring you in the face every day when you look in a mirror. YOU can see. Nothing like an eye ever evolved, and there is none so blind as those who claim it did.

Even in your own examples above, people have to be willing to open their eyes. If you tell me the house is on fire and I don't really believe you, but I also don't bother to look, then I still really won't know, now will I?
